It can happen only if vehicle caught fire (damaged fuel system) and you carrying a grenades or other explosives in the vehicle. Every parts can be detachable (required toolkit). You will be able to steal from each other any parts. Fuel from vehicle can be drained (required toolkit) or transfused to jarry can (required toolkit and jerry can) Useless now broken-down cars that are scattered across the map can be made to be rare spawn car loot. I tried to describe simple but realistic model of the vehicle. :) Very big parts: Windshield, Exhaust system parts Big parts: Automotive battery, Radiator, Tires Other parts are small enough to get all of them into ACU backpack.
