Its very possible for an admin to try restarting a server to save himself howevr the quote is not possible server admins do not control position.All positional data is saved by the hive to the database all the servers do is send the info to the hive we hold no database's relating to players that could influance the game that im aware of.(except the normal ban/kick stuff)

yeh sidechat was removed from the mod(a bit prematurely imo) i liked sidechat on my server it was a way for me as an admin to talk to the players check on things etc and a good way for new players to get help and new people to meet up for a common gole. I personally think the turning off of side chat either needs to be optional(for server admin's) or it needs to be put back on all together till radio's or some other form's of distance communication are implemented stef

Best thing to do is contact Lee Benson either on the customer support team speak or on skype and text chat him to ask about settings if your worried about changing them hope this help's also its now lu as they've moved to a new more powerful server farm and are providing better hardware and more player slots at a smaller price and also with the new tech can have less day z servers running on one box again increasing the performance we will get

DO not try to change your server name day z staff has implemented a "naming" policy (check for an email from vilayer) that says servers must now be named in a certain way or thell be blacklisted in the next 24hr's so vi layer has gone through and fixed all the server name(at the expense of there own time) and changed the user cp so you cannot change things that will get you blacklisted stef

Just want to let you guys know these guys are excellent.Recently day z has decided no server can exist with under 40 slot's.Due to this a lot of our servers would have to be shut down(myne included it was only 25 man) however lee has decided to absorb the cost and has upped any of our servers under 40 slots up to 40 slot's instead of passing on the cost to us the customers. I spent a few hours talking to lee and some of the other server admin this weekend in teamspeak and i also cannot get across how good this guy is hes sorted my server hes uped it from 25 to 40 slots at his own expense and hes managing all my updates for me.Yes sometimes it does take a little while to get support but hopefully with the new ts support service this will improve things majorley aside from the some times slow support though these guys have been a dream hosting company for me stef

Hi jhon the update button isnt working for me it dl's the file and exstracts it but does not install it This is installed DayZ 1.7.0 & Arma2 93398 This will install DayZ 1.7.0 and Arma2 93398 server version, PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE ONLY WORKING VERSION. but the option for 1.7.1 has now dissapeared and after instaling this the server still seems not to require the beta patch

Fuel leaks are part of the game. You will lose fuel if your tank is too damaged. yes they are but currently there is no way to repair the fuel tank of a chopper like you would a car etc
