I have gone through every common error and every solution available, yet nothing worked. When I first installed ARMA II CO, I opted out of downloading the Operation Arrowhead Beta. Was that in the wrong? I started thinking maybe that caused the problem, so just today I uninstalled OA and then I re-installed it along with the Beta. I hope later on after work I'll be able to play it. Otherwise I'll just continue playing the actual game until the DayZ standalone releases and buy it from GameStop or the game's official Website, rather than from Steam.

I've done all that you've done and still my game will not run either. I would like answers as well.

I'm having this same problem. I have verified the integrity of the game 6 or 7 different times, I've run Steam as administrator, I've deleted the files from the Registry and re-registered them. I've used every method I have seen on the forums and on other forums, but none of them are doing a darn thing. I may just give up and wait for the standalone game to come out. This is all just too much stress.

I just got the game and I have yet to get my first murder. But I am sure waiting for that blood-curdling moment to occur. I am trying to be as friendly as possibly, but I did encounter one guy earlier today who ended up being my downfall. I met him in the School in Electro and he was in a Ghillie with a DMR. He was perched up in a window and I was just outside, getting ready to make my way in. I know for a fact that he saw me, but he didn't shoot me. Perhaps he felt bad because I was armed with only a hatchet and had very little food and drink on me. So, I slowly inched my way up to his location and walked into the room he was sitting in. He was friendly enough, he direct chatted me and we talked for a good few minutes. All seemed grand, until what I can only describe to you as an act of terrorism occurred. Last thing I saw was a grenade and a smoke roll into the room. Ghillie man, who I believe was named Phillip, exploded and was dead right then. Unfortunately, I made it through and was just unconscious, bleeding out. Three very-highly geared up men in bandit skins walked in and stole our loot right before putting a few rounds into my head. I was very sad, since this was my first death and I thought I had just made a new ally.

Hello, my friend, I am very new and would love to join your team. Really at this point, I need to protection and advice until I get my feet off the ground. I do have one question beforehand: Are you trying to be a Survivor, Hero, or Bandit group? I would prefer to either help people or just survive because I'm not much for taking what I don't deserve. Just let me know, man.
