Have You Worked In A Team Before?: yes I prefer to use assault and battle rifles, but I can fill any role (except as heli pilot - always ends badly). I've mostly played on chernarus, and I'm familiar with all the major locations and navigating without a map, etc. I've played a bit of Namalsk and Celle as well. Basically just looking for some others to play the game with, as I've pretty much done everything the mod offers playing solo.

1. proper anti-cheat that permanately bans across all public servers. 2. make it so clients cant run custom scripts. 3. votekick I know these are a bit unrealstic for the mod, but absolutely nescessary for standalone.

remove it, any weapon that allows someone to quickly scan an area and instantly spot any players is overpowered, especially when there is no counter. the gun is fine, it's the thermal. if you're going to keep it in, there needs to be some kind of counter. here are some quick suggestion that could make it more balanced if you decide to keep it: remove zoom completely while in thermal, deployable glowsticks that give off heat signature (that can fool thermal at longer ranges), or require the thermal scope to use batteries (which are seperate loot spawn).

the price point has nothing to do with preventing cheaters (script kids). It's really up to the devs to stop the cheating. hopefully the new client-server architecture will stop the rampant cheating that goes on in the mod.
