Seriously some people carry around ammo like they think they are going to get into a half hour fire fight and then don't have room for any other gear. We DID have a half our firefight with zambies. Was good times :P If we hadn't brought the ammo we had (ideally I'm thinking the leeroy enfield wasn't the best idea for our noob of the group) we would have ended up in the bellies of a hundred zambies.

This game needs lower chances of good weapons dropping not more lol.

L4D allows FF, heh. At least you should welcome a suggestion that doesn't penalize directly any way of playing. This would penalize anyone who wants to actually hunt down other players for supplies. If I am bad at scavenging but good at killing, that is how I would survive. If I run into groups of people, take the time to get the gear to kill them, stalk them, then get in position to shoot them only to find out I can't shoot them at all cause they want easy mode it is pretty game ruining. There are few enough people on the servers as is to break them into categories of people who can and can't be shot. -

Nope don't like it. I've played to many games with a consensual pvp system and it is always annoying and stupid. If you don't want to get shot and like working together go play L4D. -

I was with a group of four when we went into Vyborr and we kicked off a massive zambie fight. By the end of it we were trying to retreat out of the cities but one of our members got hit by a zombie coming in from one of the buildings on the edge of town. Broke his legs and none of us had morphine on us for some stupid reason. Spent the next 15-30 minutes guarding him with the three remaining standing survivors shooting zambies while the fourth slowly crawled out of town.

I used to bounce when I first started but I got tired of that real quick. Found a good hardcore updated beta server with no third person and I stay there. -

Im going to throw down my gun on next respawn. Lets see how far I make it. Also the whole throwing cans thing...I haven't been able to get that to work as of yet. I throw it into a field with zambies and they just keep strutting around. Any tips? -

It's an alpha. You are going to lose everything due to server restarts/crashes/bugs/udpates. Get used to it. -

If the game is about survival, lets make survival difficult. I can spawn and in an hour have enough supplies to last for days just chilling in a clearing in the middle of no where. These changes would force me to go to town and get supplies or look for supplies and I wouldn't want to shoot other people arbitrarily because although they may have goodies, I will most likely have to deal with zombies immediatly after and I don't have the supplies for that. -

I've noticed that the number of zombies you have killed or number of players and headshots is tied to the suit you are wearing so if you change it resets. -
Or maybe give them a phone number to call that is nothing but hold music, but instead of hold music it's just a 5 hour long recording of a howler monkey.

Every time me and my friends play a new game it usually involves LOTS of frienemy fire so I kill them all the time. Having them turn into a zombie first or after would be kind of redundant. :P -

Don't cheat, don't hack, don't use scripts, don't alter the game at all unless you have permission by the developers...I don't understand why this is so difficult to understand.

Tried the No Gun and Limit Gear start option

Personally I like the idea of no gun, one food, one water, and one pack of flares, like you are the one guy who survived the boat sinking off the coast and managed to get your hands on the emergency supplies. I'll have to try this myself. I'm to chicken to play at night but I think I may do it anyway. -

People who think this game doesn't encourage coop play don't realize how hard it is to survive on your own compared to running with 2-5 people. -
DevilDogGamer and Sidestrafe for me. Sidestrafe is the first video I ever watched and I was in the process of buying arma2 less than 5 minutes into the first video.

There are always going to be a few that get through the cracks. It is an alpha, get used to people exploiting the coding and doing things they shouldn't until it gets fixed. Once fixed a few people will find some other way to exploit it and so on.
