It doesn't solved my problem :( I installed my micro (again) and use the cache thing at steam but still no chat... I can't understand why no developer say anything to this topic. First they removed the side channel and now the direct don't work. It's not really possible to play with other people for us and it doesn't care anything :|

Hello, congratulations for the cheater game of the year :) I saw SO MUCH players cheating the last days, its unplayable now and the Battleshit is like punkbuster and all the other: No effect! In the last ~2-3 hours of playing I found 3 players with godmode, 1 time a masskill and everyone die, 2 invisible people and 1 time I was killed by the hacker in a helicopter which shoot me dont with rockets :) The thing is, you allow hacks which is really easy to detect and just trust the simple battleye checks... I hope dayz will change is or I (and I think I'm not alone with this oppinion) will never play it again, because this strong hacks destroy the whole game. I hate it to search equipment and only a ugly guy have to join and kill me with one key. >:(

That has nothing to do with "DayZ is alpha". The problem is the normal arma 2 engine and the client-server-architecture. The game allow to execute every command as a client... I mean really? 100, 200 and more Beta patches and just changed stupid things and dont improve/fix the real problems... And yea, the standalone? Pay again for this crap and we have cheaters again? Not really :lol: The standalone still based on the same engine and I'm very sure: The problem will be NOT solved.

The client-server model is just a bad joke... A client can execute server commands... No idea which noob coded this...

I also have still graphic glitches with the new version... it's better but not completely fixed <_<

Bumb... I try to find a solution for that but sorry I have no idea. Checked firewall, disable firewall, sniffing traffic pakets, open traffic ports for arma/dayz , reinstall game, checked more operating systems (X64,X86) and more... I found no solution. Side Channel is disabled and we have no way to talk with other people. Please help us developers...

Hey, I got banned yesterday on this server and I have an assumption why. I was with a friend and a other guy (which we picked up ingame) in Cherno and a player jumped down a big industrie building! He don't get any damage and follow us with a M107 or AS50 (not 100% sure which weapon exactly but my friend say it was an AS50). So we all start shooting on him with a M4A1, Winchester and some sniper from the other dude but the player dont receive any damage. After some seconds he started shooting on us and we all die. We write something like "hacker please ban" and some player want know this name (sounds like he was an admin). We write the name (can't remember now :/) and we left the server to play without the hacker. Some hours later we will join again, because we play the most time on cz01/02. This servers has a side channel/global chat and we really need this, because our Direct Chat don't work :( Now we can't play anymore on this server and have no idea why. I hope someone can help us or tell us why we get banned. My Playername was ":S"

The glitch was 2 min. away, now I see the glitches again... same for a friend of me.

I have still the graphic glitches at the airfields and Cherno. Still the dead bodys. I use 1.7.2.5 and the Beta Patch 95883. Please help me/us... :( Still unplayable

A friend of me has this problem too now. His graphiccard was defect and he installed Arma + Arrowhead on his second PC and play with this. The first PC is now repaired and now his direct channel doesn't work too! O_o I mean he just change the gpu, no reinstall of operating system or something... Please, help us :/

Push... I hope a dayz developer can give us an answere about our problem.

You have to fix the stupid green hourglass... its damn slowly and I can't do anything... Its stupid If I know: Hm I can't survive because I'm bleeding but I have to wait 3 minutes now! That sucks ._.

The respawn problem make problems for the servers? That looks like just bad programmed... Btw. What does it mean with the Alt F4? The "Hive" (don't like this word) track the logins/logouts and? And are you sure that you don' get a false positive? I think a lot of users will have trouble with this (fair play users!)

Hello, The direct channel is not working for me. A friend of me can read my messages but I never receipt a message from him (same problem with other players). I try to reinstall arma 2 + arrowhead but no effect. I use it since the Beta patch is required and use always the newsest beta patch and have no idea why. We play the most time on servers with side channels now and other players tell me/us, that they have the same effect. Any idea how to fix the problem (if it's possible)?

Wrong. It excist a Direct Channel and people can chat inside a small range but it's not possible for some players.

Stupid Betapatch... the changelog is always a bad joke and it include new bugs. <_< Ps. Fix the chat, Direct Channel is not working for every player
