Troyicide in particular was banned like, 6 times in cRPG, at least once for a major infraction (autoblock hacking). Glad Hospitaller is finally kicking that dude out, even if it took heat in two different goddamn mods to do it. -
Can also auto-run by, if running through steam, holding W while hitting Shift+Tab to open up the overlay. When you close the overlay, you will be auto-running (or walking, use Shift to change).

Get rid of zed/player/bandits kills, sure. Reduce the clutter on the Debug menu as much as possible. Add those stats to the You Are Dead screen, maybe (You Are Dead! This life you've killed x Zombies, and killed x players, y of which were Bandits).

YES (to this and other suggestions). This is, IMO, a good way to mimic the subtle body language signs you might get from someone in a real life encounter. -
A lot of people have hit the nail on the head here. Patience, observation, planning. Just having good gucci gear isn't going to save your life. It's not going to make you magically stronger. A bullet is a bullet is a bullet and you can die from any of them. Your lack of awareness and caution is what got you killed. If you got shot, it's because you opened yourself up to get shot- you weren't behind cover. It also means you had to be spotted- you lingered too long in an area, fired your gun, or even just ran through an open area with no cover at all. As for your question, "What is the point of even playing the game?" I don't know man. We all have our own reasons I guess, and if yours is that weak where getting killed destroys your resolve, then it's probably not the one for you.

Kill on sight, or avoid being seen. Trust only those who you communicate with in voice, be it the wonky direct or a third party program. Advertise your TS when you come on a server looking for buddies if you feel you need to. I've met plenty of friendlies in this way, not including the dudes I already play with regularly. In general, yeah, it's what I expected, and it's great. I love this unpolished, unfinished game-mod more than most other games I own.

Jewel of the northern coast, my favored home and looting area (I mean, military spawns, less player population, general stores, vehicle parts spawns.. got it all). I've noticed a few more people than there were there a week ago, but still nothing major so far. Far from the bean wars. -

The only thing that bothers OP that somewhat bothers me is people who spawn and pile stuff at key locations for uber purple gears (AKA campers). Teabag the shit out of those min-maxing jerks. -
Server: Chicago 6 Time: Just now, approximately 4:25PM CST. What happened: Everyone on the server just died, presumably as the result of a hacker whose identity is unknown. Bummer... I guess it could also just be technical issues with HIVE, but figured I'd report it and this seemed like the best place.

While I don't agree with a 12-24 hour respawn timer as a specific deterrent to PVP gameplay, I do agree with a 12-24 hour (or even 2-6 hour) respawn timer as a general deterrent to playing like an idiot and taking stupid risks with virtually no punishment (worst case scenario currently, you respawn back on the beach, almost immediately). This would also cut back on server loads I'd imagine, and would increase the amount of delicious player tears needed to sustain development. The unfortunate side affect of this is that people dying from a bug or a hacker get fucked pretty hard. -

Add real permadeath next patch. You only get one life, then you can never play again without buying a new cd-key lolol. In reality, I would like to see some kind of respawn timer. It could be anywhere from 1 hour to 1 day. Something that would make people play with more caution. Of course... having to wait for a respawn timer because the server you were on had HIVE connection issues or got hacked or whatever would be pretty lame. -
Back to WoW ye go :) Oh yeah, one other thing, rocket: can we get an image of the female model in game so people can decide if it's worth choosing always and forever?
