I agree with you. I saw this on the dayz website - "These once human creatures will act and behave as if they have a heighten sense of hearing and smell but less sight." It's hard to believe that something with impaired vision could see you laying in the grass, completely still, from around 50 meters away. Exactly my thoughts. I don't see any point of the goofing around on the higher vehicle, custom loadout, etc servers (but maybe I'm a grump). It seems much more fun to me if there's a risk involved.

IMHO all the "ridiculous" things you mentioned are what makes the game better and more realistic to me. A harder game is a better game because the rewards are much better

I've been looking for a private hive to call home. The map can either be Chernarus or Taviana 2.0. Some requirements are: -NO added vehicle spawns or vehicles. Default amount and spawns are best. This includes helicopters -NO added buildings -NO added weapons or item spawns -NO custom load outs Basically I'm looking for a private hive that runs the vanilla chernarus or taviana map

If you fire shots in a town it's safe to say anyone around you that hears it will go into shoot on site mode. Also if you fire at someone DO NOT STOP until they are either unconscious or dead even if they start shouting friendly.

If you're hosting a completely vanilla private hive i'd be up for joining
