    Zombie population

    I think the levels of zed in smaller towns is ok. However, I think in large towns there should be much more zombies. For me, Cherno should be somewhere you aspire to go to when you have gathered some military gear and plentey of ammo. I think the cafes, statue/town hall/ church should spawn 20-30 zeds. I agree that the respawn rate is silly. I too have ran out of ammo after getting into a fight with zeds. If I disturn some now, i run into the forest to fight them where i know they will not respawn and fly into attack state. I was disappointed when entering cherno the first time and realising it is actually too easy to creep around there. I pictured something closer to walking dead when they went for guns and had to take refuge on the roof. I also would like to see zeds in buildings more. it is too easy to assume buildings are safe, i should be nervously peaking around doors worrying about danger all the time. This may be aided if we had some staionary zombies? They don't all have to wander. Stationary means harder to spot sometimes. Perhaps some not quite so vocal too - mix it up a bit.
  2. I used to think the night was pointless. It was so dark that the scariest part of zombie survival was getting avoided. With it being so unapproachable, people avoid the night by moving to day servers with higher ping. Shame... However, night is ok if you are willing to team up and able to find someone who won't shoot you in the back. A tough one for someone with some decent gear. In an ideal world there would be a moon cycle. Full moon and clear night means decent view (black silhouttes in fields shuffling around). If it starts to rain, it goes pitch black. Woods inpentrable etc. If anyone has seen the new arma 3 lighting system on youtube, they have really improved on this side of night time, so the future looks bright. So if you are having problems at night, get in a group asap (I know it is hard to find anyone). The rewards of nightime play are utterly amazing though, it is truly terrifying. Perhaps give it a go when you have died and have little to lose. You won't regret it.

    Reduce the spawn of food/drink

    I rarely carry more than one tin, I just eat them as I find them. At the moment I am unconcerned about starving/dehydration. A large sector of survival mechanic going begging.

    ACE-like inventory system

    Ooh yea very good idea, I like this very much and would certainly help realism. Wieght and size based carrying ystem rocks! Could other mods for arma be introduced with permission and proper credits?
