I get a simualr thing I get to the Black Day Z screen with the count on the right but it stays at 0 (zero) instead of going up 1,2,3,4 etc.

The old ones were better and lets face it who's going kill someone and the first thing they do is go I want to rap a big white towel around my head, just like a big white target so it's easier to shoot at.

Playing on this server last night, I spawned in and found myself in what use to be a barn it had been levled to the ground next to me there was a body. I took the opurtunity to loot it. It had a Lee enf and some basic stuff I then started to walk away when instantly my legs broke and I was dead. WARNING!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVER!!!!! The opening message basically tells hackers they are welcome but asks thme to leave regualr players alone, which they obviously do not.

I came on that same server just a acouple of days ago there were bodies and vehicles everywhere, I killed a bandit at the Balota AF he had one of every weapon in his inventory thought it was a bit weird so I hid the body. then I log in yesterday and as I'm spawwning in a Heli with a minigun spawned in on top of me and blasted the crap out of me. After I respawned in Elctro I wanted to run to cherno where the chopper killed me so I could get my gear back and all the sudden I started doing handstands and dancing around and couldn't stop. This was one of my favorite servers but it's just getting ruined.

Nah fair enough have to protect what's yours in this game. Might be diffrent if you had been close enough to warn him but that far away by the time you walked up to him he would have been gone. Good shot dude.

I just recently started getting this error, after a really long game session like 4 hrs it flashed up and kikcked me back to desktop. Now everytime I try to join a game I get the message and I don't get as far as the loading screen.

I'd be keen tired of the lone wolf thing

One of the things that makes Dayz what it is that everyone starts out the same, adding classes I think would ruin a big part of the game. I think you may be looking for a different type of game perhaps something on a console would be more suited to your tastes.

I had the same problem I ended up going back to the older version for arma but stayed on the dayz update seems to work for me anyway

Would love to see some Zoms that look like survovors / bandits / heros complete with backpacks

I've purchased the retail version Arma2 and OA then downloaded and installed DayZ Commander then they DayZ mods. I've been wrestling with a number of issues like the 0kb/0kb mission msg, Battleye client not responding, and the infamous infinite loading screen. Now just to be clear this is not me complaining as I've been able to deal with the issues at least most of the time and can play about 50% of the time, but I wanted to pose the question is there a suggested installation process for the retail version that works the best?, and if so what are the steps in the process. I also want to make perfectly clear I do know that this is a beta I'm in software development myself and understand there are always growing pains during dev., just wanted to pick the collective brains out there.

I've got this issue to doesn't matter what server I try public \ private. Servers I played on just a few days ago stuck loading the progress bar comes up realy fast then it just sits there at one stage I let it sit there for 2 hrs...nothing I've reinstalled everything replaced battleye several times disabled all antivirus and firewalls both on the modem and the computer. I've got the retail arma 2 and AO all the folders look correct and like I said it was just working on this past sunday. I don't care about everything else just want to play the game. Any help would be appreciated. I'. in software support and developement so I do understand tech speak please let the suggestions flow. thanks all.
