  1. It's not out, it's currently in closed testing. EDIT: Just got released.
  2. We will send an email out later today about a one-time only change in time zone for current customers.
  3. If you contact sales ([email protected] or via our ticket system) we'll provide you with some test IPs. There is no minimum time, as long as you cancel at least one day before it's due then it will be cancelled. Yes we can do that for you. What error are you getting?
  4. NY are expected later today. At the VERY latest tomorrow morning.
  5. All correct apart from the price. We may be rising this to $60/month but it's totally provisional at the moment.
  6. Sure thing, live chat is now online on our website. (Button is on the left)
  7. Hello, On our website it states that our dedicated servers take 1-2 business days, this is shown under the price. We assume customers understand the ETA of their server prior to ordering so this is why we did not contact you. I'm sorry if you missed the ETA on our website, I'm more than happy to hear any suggestions from you for us to improve on this. It's also very standard for a provider to take this long to setup a dedicated server. The server must be built, placed in a rack at our DC, tested for any hardware defects, have Windows installed, get it's network setup then finally we setup DayZ for you. I also didn't get to sleep until about 4am last night because I was setting up orders and answering tickets, this is why I have started my day at about 12pm. On top of that we are currently one staff member down until tomorrow, this is causing our ticket reply time to be about 8-10 hours on average. By tomorrow I can assure you this reply time will be under 4 hours at the very most. I don't believe you made a ticket anyway, but that is the best way to contact us about anything.
  8. We are looking into this considering we're based in South London. Our next location will most probably be Netherlands which you will get a very good ping to. From my home connection I get 8ms to this new DC.

    HostAltitude - Commandline

You can't change the command line but it shouldn't be blank. If you've made at ticket I'll get to it soon.
  10. Answered! It seems your server had an error whilst it was creating earlier but we never got notified by the CP. Sorry about that!
  11. Will check your ticket now. Not for 1-2 weeks now.

    Curious - 95310 working?

The client version is 95248 and the server version is 95251. It's not a mistake, just labelled as 95248 as it's always labelled with the client version.
  13. Our prices are one of the lowest, compare us to competitors first. Yes generally getting a dedicated server may be better if you plan on getting 3-4 servers. 95% of the people here just want a single DayZ server and don't want to pay $85+/month for 3-4 servers. We also offer refunds which dedicated providers do not, we provide support for DayZ and we love our customers.
  14. The node had a RAM failure and the DC didn't have any to spare at the time. This never normally happens and caused a delay in getting it back up. It will be back online in a couple of hours I believe. I had planned to let the affected customers know but we were too busy with the back log of orders we currently have. LIke I said above we are short staffed right now and don't have anyone who can temp until things are back to normal (Thurs/Fri). If you are not in New York I will check your ticket as soon as possible. Otherwise same as above. We're just a staff member down at the moment hence the delays. Things will be back to normal tomorrow, until then tickets may take a little longer to get responded too. We also treat all customers the same, dedicated customers don't get priority in tickets or anything else. Feel free to call again, I was away from the phone at the time. Maybe we can talk about the weather or something. If you ordered in Dallas it will be up in 1-2 hours (for real), that ETA it says in your account is for new orders. We had a slight delay with our Dallas orders due to stock arriving at about 10pm Dallas time rather than the planned 1pm. We have tons of stock now so this won't happen again! Very sorry everyone. If anyone is waiting for their server in Germany or Phoenix still, please make some noise as these have all been provisioned (unless you ordered in the past 1-2 hours).

    Getting annoyed with Vilayer

Timezone changing will be added very soon. We're sorry for our current response time but we are one man down for a couple of days. None of our servers are overloaded and the majority of desync/lag issues can be fixed or at least eased. It can take us some time to diagnose issues but we do work with the dev team and other server admins to find fixes fast. Remember DayZ is still in Alpha and desync/lag is very common for all servers.
  16. We will see if we can work out something like this. Keep an eye on our Twitter: @hostaltitude We are working on a system where you can offset the time, should be ready soon. Confirmed hardware failure. Working on it asap.
  17. I don't know what server is yours but I am guessing you are on the New York node that has just gone down. Fixing it now! We are not allowed to deal with VPS whitelisting, Instance IDs and Location IDs so you will have to. :(
  18. Hopefully by the end of this week. They will be only in Dallas to start of with. You can change the time zone to anything within a VPS. Thanks! We really appreciate you letting us know. I shall check your ticket now.
  19. Have they replied back telling you your IP is whitelisted as well as allocate you a location and instance ID? Which DayZ server and beta versions are you using exactly? You must also be running the same versions on your own client.
  20. Have you registered your server at http://support.dayzmod.com? ("Sign Up" button)
  21. We have improved since then. There was about 6-7 days where we had very limited stock and our support was much slower than normal. During weekdays our response time is now 3-4 hours and slightly higher on the weekends. Server setup time is under 24 hours unless we specify a date on the order form. I'm also not sure if you made a ticket or not but if your server wasn't working we can fix it. E5's are definitely not good for ArmA 2, not sure where you got that from. With ArmA 2 you want more processing power per core rather than a large number of cores with standard processing power.
  22. Just a reminder that customers may not password or lock their servers at any time. We now have a system in place where customers who decide to break the rules by locking their server will be sent a warning email. If they do not comply with the email and re-offend, their server will be suspended. It's in our Terms of Service which all customers agree to when purchasing a server. This is a strict rule set by the Dev Team and maintains a fair gaming environment.

I will continue to purchase from HFBSERVERS

Thanks for being understanding rockstar. I'm currently in charge of Host Altitude and whilst I agree with most of your points, there are some things I don't: Whether or not a company receives a huge amount of orders, it is still their duty to provide constant communication and support for customers. I admit, we were behind on tickets and orders for a few days, some tickets were unanswered for 48 hours. This is totally unacceptable for any company and we just didn't have enough staff to handle such a huge amount of orders at one time. We tried to give accurate ETAs and kept customers informed via email/Twitter but support was lacking. Since then we have taken on new staff members who know exactly how DayZ works, they are all fully trained in customer service and they enjoy what they are doing. Tickets response times have dropped dramatically over the past week and are currently at 3-4 hours during weekdays and slightly higher at the weekend. We have also purchased plenty of stock to ensure our setup times are always the same day and hopefully by next week, all orders will be instantly provisioned. I'd also like to add that we have been hosting game servers since January 2011, we are a fully registered Limited company in the UK, we have an accountant and we have several employees that are on a payroll. We are very real and try to be as professional as possible. I may be young as you pointed out but I have a huge interest in business and gaming and have plenty experience with running a business.
  24. We can't promise you one or reserver a server for you but the best thing to do would be follow this thread. Create a ticket, let me know the ticket number and I'll check that out for you.
