compass, canopener, and antibiotics... i came across one compass so far, was in a red bricked building, i was so excited, just was was adjusting inventory to make room for it and pick it up the doomed loss of communication timer with the red link from the server....

i think your poll also forgot shitty flashlight physics, no ambient light outside the actual beam not enough storage options for the amount of items/features in game and yet to come, (camping tents, safes etc) xray vision zombies that see through walls and bushes from a mile away using the 1-9 hotkeys just "cancels" the last operation/item used making you have to hit the new hotkey again to actually place in hand -

I like playing at night for several reasons... 1) fewer people play 2) you can crouch walk right up to a stupid zed and axe them in the head unlike daytime where they see you through walls and bushes a mile away and just run to you but the flashlight physics just suck balls....the ambient light outside the main beam of light is non existant.... its a total pain in the ass in a small tight little house trying to find crap.. -

what part of "no interactiveness" do you not understand? The N or the O? lol.... clicking on dots does NOTHING, no "seperate windows" as you say. all i have is a big picture of a map with red dots that DO NOTHING when clicked, moused over, cursed at, pissed on, etc lol.... I thought it was pretty self explanatory... looks like a nice lil program with potential once fully debugged... thanks to the creator for building it. EDIT... i notice that when i right click on the icon in the taskbar tray the script is always check boxed for "script paused".. and nothing changes it to get it to un check or unpause... -

I just experienced this... just spent several hours crawling around in darkness gearing up... logged in today, had all my gear, went to switch servers and bam, im a new spawn with just a stupid flashlight.... even for an alpha thats really going to peeve people off.. ya you can equip yourself again but its wasted gameplay... -

not being able to get wood from the forest seems to be a pretty important bug fix ... not that it matters to me i keep getting kicked when i join the only server that comes up on my server list following the op instructions... would like to have at least tried it... -

if your going to have the ability to play cards with wagers then the currency just needs to be cigarettes or cooked meat, drinks, compass, map etc, no weapons... and are only achievable through picking up in game like all other items, no real world cash exchange... but having something to do while in base/camp besides rock side to side or sitting by a campfire singing kumbya would be nice lol.. -
im finding that in order to store supplies for myself and a few others we are keeping to many vehicles in the forests, this makes camp easier to spot and takes away vehicles from other players... somehow it would be nice if there was a way to build a small camp with say 1) entrenching tool, 2) cinder blocks, 2) scrap metal (roof), this would allow you to build a small camo structure which could store at least equal to a mtvr/ural vehicle. maybe depending on the number of blocks and scrap you can select build small or medium structure.... just an idea

My dayz mod connects and works just fine but when i use my OA shortcut (latest beta) i continually get batteye failed to initialize blah blah... ive went to their site and downloaded the two files (client, server) that everyone says will fix it and placed them where they needed to be and just wont work when using OA, my regular arma 2 shortcut, and dayz shortcuts work and connect just fine... its just my arrowhead and i have no idea what is goin on....and its pissing me off

there was a server i used to play in arma 2 that was heavily modified using the takistan map which was like cops and robbers, it had an economy and even atm's you could withdraw or deposit at. but one of the features was being able to acquire a fishing rod, and fishing from the bank for different fish... in this server fish were sold for money and diferent types of fish had different values for cash... one pond may offer one type, a different location may offer something else... i see no reason why this couldnt be implemented into dayz to be able to acquire a fishing rod and being able to fish along the coast or other water areas for food, then just require the fish to be gutted, cooked before it could be consumed as food..
