download Dayz commander

Hey guys, can anyone help me? Just moved house and tried to connect to a new wireless connection, but my usb adapter cannot detect any networks. I added it manually and now it seems to connect for a minute or two and then disconnect and cannot detect anything.Any ideas?

Also I can connect fine with my phone. Sorry for double post, cant work out how to edit post on phone. Edit:Worked it out,USB adapter was out of range under my desk apparantly.Mods,you can delete this thread now.

Really?I've seen plenty of threads with people saying they have i-7's and 690's getting terrible frames. I think its dependent on a lot of things.Just bear in mind that DayZ is a mod of a pretty buggy and oftentimes laggy game.Hopefully all will be fixed when the SA os released though,which is hopefully in the next 2 weeks.

Definatly not.You need a quad core cpu for anything above 20 fps. Also you could spend £1000 on a pc and still not get 30 fps in cities.

Not really mate,Its just DayZ isnt very optimized.Everyone has these problems.Search the forums and you will find a thread or two about getting a few extra fps with some minor tweaks.

I think if this essay was structed properly,some may take the time to read it.As it is though i doubt many will.Try pressing enter a few times!

Have you tried disabling vsync?Probably not the problem,but in other games this causes problems for me. Edit:Beaten to the punch :) Maybe try playing with Nvidia control panel?

Ludonarrative dissonance is when your actions in game are the opposite or go against the games storyline or characters personality. To put it in DayZ terms: Guy A:You friendly? Guy B:Yeah totally! Guy B then shoots Guy A in the face. Ok so it doesnt really work with DayZ,but you get the point.

Its probably happening cos this is Dayz.i think 95% of people have some kind of fps problem. Not too much you can do,except for a few minore tweaks,like the config file edit,and lowering your graphics settings.
