Well done Team, really marvellous job (sarcasm)

Or, BIS could enforce its server rules. -
No there aren't.

Since when did Israel supply troops to support UN operations? Because no-one else uses the Galil...

1. That's not a bug, it's a placeholder. 2. It'll be patched shortly. 3. The meaning of "shortly" varies greatly.. 4. Rubberbanding is life. 5. That fitting a different stock to a weapon turns it from a blunderbuss to a laser is perfectly acceptable.

BIG NEWS ! submachine-gun, tents, teddy bears, and much more

Can we not have an SMG which fires mackerel? -
It's a glitch of a bug of a placeholder.

At What Point Will You Say, "This Is Now DayZ"?
terminal_boy replied to Katana67's topic in General Discussion
When the SA has the working features that the Vanilla Mod has. - Persistent storage - Rare vehicles - Avoiding starvation is a challenge -
Not really with an A /M as you don't want to block off the cooling slots in the handguard. Taping it to the barrel/piston tube is going to work right up until you start shooting it...
-
Everything that is wrong with weapons in the SA in one picture.
-
The very concept of a weapon attachment other than a suppressor affecting its ballistic properties make Baby Jesus cry.
-
What is the rubber banding/teleportation a placeholder for?
-
It'll be a slideshow. Have you got and upgrade budget?
-
Looks like a copy of the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle...
-
If it plays everything else well enough for you, I'd wait.
-
That's your problem because the RV Engine doesn't play well with AMD CPUs. Hopefully, all the alleged optimisation will improve this situation.
-
And if that wasn't already a very poor player experience, every once in a while the game will rubber-band you back into the pack of zombies you just managed to shake off by running through a building.
-
^ This. You're not hearing random sounds, you're hearing every soda can, zombie agro etc. that happens on the server.
-
Last time I tried to play the SA on my less than stellar laptop, dropping the Detail levels to Low increased GPU load.
-
FPS drop in city = CPU loading. Switching some graphics settings to Low actually adds more load to the CPU. The only way to reduce this (judging from the various performance threads) is to have an overclocked Intel CPU running above 4GHz.

You were moving while going prone and your character model clipped the doorframe. Movement + going prone + object = serious injury or death in ArmA.
-
Backpacks are like cans of beans; I bet pretty much every home in Central and Eastern Europe has at least one stashed away somewhere.
-
Death Cooldown (this is going to be really unpopular...)
terminal_boy replied to 11tw's topic in Suggestions
No death cool down timer until the game stops Arma-ing you to death. None. Zip. Zero. Nada. 15 minutes would be the maximum timer I'd tolerate on a fully fixed and optimised SA. -
Weird light glitching when high FPS (over 60)
terminal_boy replied to latprod's topic in General Discussion
Sounds like tearing. What refresh rate is you monitor? -
This. Playing lone wolf on a Vanilla (original loot tables etc) server used to mean that the one can of beans it took you 4 hours to find were the difference between life and death for your character.

Switch your PC off and don't run it again UNTIL your have thermal paste applied!!!
