Maintaining 360 degree SA not withstanding, fire team and squad level tactics are great if you're mobbed up. Alone, not so much.

How to survive other players: 1. Don't be seen. 2. If necessary, engage from concealment at long range. Take 2 shots max and displace to a new concealed location and observe. Rinse and repeat as required. 3. Did I mention not being seen?

I see a lot of laptop owners posting in the "Can I run DayZ?" thread and 95% of them won't have a good experience trying to play the SA. Unless BIS decide to post an honest minimum PC specification, I think we should try to help people from buying a game their laptop will never play. -
What are your thoughts on camping snipers at Balota?

I died every time I went near Balota in the Mod and I expect to die if I go near it in the SA. -
Any self-loading weapon that has a feed ramp will mush the lead bullet as it's chambered causing a failure to feed. The amount of bore fouling caused by rough-cast, soft lead bullets is going to block the gas tap-off port really fast even if you could make the bullets tough enough to survive a trip up the feed ramps.

Cast lead bullets won't feed in 99% of modern self-loading weapon. A smart person with the correct tools, reloading components and a reloading guide could make serviceable ammunition. Right up until he/she ran out of reloading components as making modern jacketed bullets, shell casings, primers and propellants will be beyond anyone. Personally, I'd be hoarding ammo whilst searching every museum and historical site for a flintlock rifle as cast lead balls and blackpowder can be made with a few tools and some chemistry knowledge.

It wouldn't hurt to make it a little more obvious. After all, this community is meant to help those that want to play DayZ. -
Personally, I'd say that should be the minimum spec.. For such a CPU intensive game, you want a CPU that can hold a decent overclock. Reading the PC specs of people who can get decent frame rates at on anything above Medium graphics settings, i5 and i7 CPUs overclocked past 4GHz seem to be a common factor.
