Had this on 7870, 7950 and R9 290. Blue/white dots on all coniferous trees and grass looks like waffles if any ATOC setting is enabled.

Removing the buttstock on an M4 doesn't make it any shorter than fully collapsing the stock due to the length of the stock tube/receiver extension. Popping the receiver pins and splitting the upper and lower receiver assemblies would make it very backpack friendly, but as Window Licker has pointed out, this should take 30 seconds for anyone who isn't a former line grunt to do.

Canteens, utility belts, and more (now with PICTURES!).

You can lash just about anything to a sturdy belt if you have rope and duct tape. -
While I was waiting for my team-mate at Krasnostav, I had the chance to briefly meet 3 survivors.. They no longer exist

What they said. You had a perfect position to observe the area from and yet you left it to go hunting players that hadn't posed a threat. -
Game lacks support for AMD Cpu's & Amd Crossfire systems

RV Engine like fast CPU with 4 physical cores. Trawl through the various performance threads and you'll often see i7s performing worse than i5s at the same clock speed. -
That's always been the case with the RV Engine, I believe. The odd thing was that I'd previously spent a lot of time getting the best looking DayZ while maintaining a good frame rate with 98-100% GPU load. So seeing frame rates and GPU usage change after the latest patch was just strange.

Saw this at the weekend with my R9 290. I also run a i5 2500K (at 4.3GHz) and never seen high CPU core loading. I actually increased Texture and Detail qualities to Very High and GPU usage went back to a steady 98-100% and now get slightly better frame rates than before at higher graphics settings. Very odd.
-
Where do you find the metal and lathe to craft the adaptor required?
-
Really? Please clarify what you mean by "Max out game performance" as there's a bunch of people on this forum with way better PCs that either of yours who can't get a playable frame rate with all the Graphics settings (AA and PP for example) maxed out.
-
Moving the zombie AI load to player's PCs is really going to hurt game performance for anyone not running a top-end PC unless the Devs figure out how to move doing this onto a CPU core not being used by the game engine. Or they can implement a "headless" client on the servers.
-
Without changing graphics settings at all, I saw lower GPU loading (normally at 100%) and 5-10 lower FPS according to AfterBurner on Sunday. Setting all textures and qualities to Very High and moving Post Processing up from Very Low to Low brought GPU usage up to a steady 100% and restored frame rates back to what they were before despite higher detail. i5 2500K @ 4.3GHz and R9 290.

This. Not at all well received when the wife in on an early shift and has to be up at 5:30am...

That's not food, that's a biological weapon...

So, if your were Dean Hall, you'd start again from scratch using a different game engine?

Make noise = attract bullets.

Will run very nicely on Med/High settings at stock CPU clocks. Overclock that K past 4GHz for even better performance!

Learning to just distance is key as the magically allows you to zero at X metres with a few button presses.

Um, anyone know where this is?

It's on my list. Spent a lot of time out West in the Mod. -

The little hamlet just SW of Lopatino? -
The 660 is a considerable improvement over the 550, but I think you're right and the CPU going to be throttling system performance something horrible.

Laser rangefinder on a construction site? That must be one big building...

I bought SSD disk as Dean rocket recommended, but
terminal_boy replied to Rivals.Joho's topic in General Discussion
This would be due to your playing on a laptop. SSD will reduce frame stuttering on a decent gaming PC. Which you don't have. -

What sort of player are you on DayZ? *QUIZ*

Your Result: Survivor You are the all round DayZ player who depending on his mood will choose whether to kill or not to. You tend to talk to people but shoot anyone who appears to be a threat. At least however you don't go around sniping new spawns on the coast. Result Breakdown: 89% Survivor 19% Hero 4% KOS'er 2% Bandit
