Depends on the situation. If the silent player keeps their distances or moves away when I tell them to back off, I'll leave them alone. Move towards me, equip a weapon or point an already help weapon at me; the silent player is getting axed/shot.

I'm going with 10 million. Most likely thinly spread across remote areas which weren't contaminated/infected and the people there know how to live off the land/sea. I would fully expect some silly sod to launch a nuke or two once they realise their country is doomed. -

I try to avoid all encounters and play "Lone wolf" style. When I do bump into another player (usually when looting), I'll try to back off while attempting to contact them over Direct to let them know I'm not going to attack them if they don't attack me. I go from Suspicious to Murderous if any on the following happen: - Player doesn't communicate, but keeps moving closer or tries to get behind me. - Player follows me after being told to GTFO. - Player equips a weapon if previously shouldered / aims a weapon at me. - Player communicates, but sounds 12 years old or Scouse. - Player communicates, but is obviously in TS/Skype comms with someone else. -

It is absolutely dependant on system power. 4 very fast physical CPU cores gives the best results with RV Engine games.

Fess up! Where have you stashed them? Unless the M4 Kiddies looted my regular server... Been through Elektro, Cherno, Balota and the Military Base near Pavlovo and nada. Zilch. Zip. F*** all. Found 4 M4s and enough 7.62mm (Mosin and SKS), .45 and .357 ammo to start WW4. -

They would work very well between fixed locations if you conceal the cable. I would expect a knowledge of Morse code and make-shift heliographs to be very important after the Earth goes dark. -

Everything civilian goes down when the power fails. Some parts have diesel powered back-up generators, but these are only fuelled for 24 hours constant running. Invest in good 2 way radios and solar charging systems. GPS/GLONAS runs until satellites start to fall out of orbit. As you need to be able to receive 3 different GPS signals to get a decent positional fix, you're looking how well their automated systems work at holding orbit and how much fuel they carry for the thrusters. Use diesel fueled vehicles as modern petrol degrades quite quickly without the correct additives. -
What GPU load are you seeing? The last patch did some weird things... I actually had to increase Textures and Qualities to get my 290 back to a steady 100% GPU load.
