    Hi guys, Planning to build a PC in the next couple of months that will get me playing DayZ to a decent quality. Also would like to be able to play Battlefield 3 but more interested in Day Z. I am a university student in my final year so money is tight. Would love to be getting between 30-40 fps. Could any of you awesome tech people advise me on the cheapest build possible to get the game running to a nice standard. I can use my PC as a monitor so that isn't needed. Would like to have around 6-8 gb ram as a minimum. Advice please. :D

    success!!! i have got it running to a playable standard, used gamebooster and dayz commander to find a good server :D now got another question, when i go to third person view it seems pretty close to the char, any way to zoom it out abit?

    Yeah in an ideal world I would have a desktop but laptop is needed as I travel up and down the country and easy up for uni as well. What is vidock?

    Had a feeling that was going to be the case :( Student life sucks lol can't get a new laptop for a while. If I was to trade it for a desktop pc with someone what is the minimum spec I would need to get the game playing at like 30fps?
