Cannibals could wear the bones of their victims as armor while using pointed sections of bone for spear/arrowheads or even some sort of crude sword!

I like the idea of using plants to “boost” the amount of hunger cooked food provides, while other types can be used for more medical purposes to replace antibiotics and painkillers. Would save you having to sneaking into a hospital with the risk of contact with another players trying to get painkillers and antibiotics. Its also very fitting with the survivalist mindset as you are able to keep healthy and safe in a dense woodland.
