When I first started playing I spawned randomly on the South Coast and East Coast but now I seem to be spawning half way up the East Coast every single time,...is anyone else experiencing this or is this indicative to where you actually die that dictates where you spawn ? Would be interesting to find out

Well seeing as you dont know me from Adam its a bit futile to reply that just as this is to yours,...but just to confirm that I was replying in that other poster in his think about it being a wasted purchase and I was simply voicing my own personal opinion,..... and in any case its my money, my life, and my enjoyment and I couldn't really care less whether youre enjoying yourself or not,..... because I am.

Has he got his weapon in hand as this slows the player right down,....if so put weapon over shoulder,..bring fists up as if to fight and run,..you may find much faster.

I finally succumbed to the death hole that is Balota last night after a good run of 6 days. it was almost deliberate that I went there knowing I may get done I got one in the head and surprise surprise after shouting friendly, however I am not bitter as I have thoroughly enjoyed my first run and have used it as a training exercise to work out what needs to be done to survive ingame. I liked the Epoch mod and even though I used the Mosin, I picked up M4 accessories stuff and used that to trade with fellow players. Which happened quite a few times surprisingly. Another good tip is when you find clothing and rip them into rags and use the glass bottles of alcohol ( or whatever it is ) and use the to sterilize the rags and that way you have better chance of not becoming sick due to wounds. As I have said in previous comments I love this game because its a thinking mans game however I have since spawned as a bird ( woman) Ok so no touching my arse when I run past you ! I am excited by the thought of what this game could become. What little nuggets of tip gold have you come across since starting this adventure ? Bushwhacker

I played 3 days without seeing anyone You need a saline infusion or someone to blood bag you as a quick fix but I beleive you must stuff your face with food and drink to bring back the colour to your face but it takes a very long time,..I personally havnt done it and I am usually black and white,.. however theres good youtube vids about defeating the dead without getting hurt South is where the sun is usually so run in that direction but I suggest looking online at the map to give you a better idea of where you are http://dayzdb.com/map#2.086.101 Have fun and be lucky Pretty much what greenjellie has just said above

Just come out of a server and I cannot change views between 1st and 3rd now it stays on 1st,.. a fellow survivor also said the same thing,..is this a glitch or something that is going to be a constant in the game ? I even swopped out my keyboard to make sure that wasnt the issue.

Noooooo after I found that the enters were not doing anything to change view.

I had the same thing,...some of the ponds are like seawater if they keeping moving as in waves and noises,..you need the brown still ponds to make that work properly,..however that does not work all the time its very much hit and miss right now Aqua Zombies ,...Cool

Hello all,. In-game now for four days and having been a Arma2 and dayz mod player for about a year,..I was unsure how this stand alone was going to pan out but let me tell you that I am totally impressed,..even at the Alpha stage that we have now and in my opinion its better than some of the games out there we have in a full version. I am really excited about what the game is going to become as we now know that crafting is going to be involved in some form. I wonder how much similar it would be to say an Epoch scenario where you can build your own place to hang out or would we be able to get a tent and build a small encampment to protect that.I suppose we shall see in due course. This is all supposition of course. Ive always liked dayz because its not only a game where the youngsters can run around and blast people at will but it also caters for a Lonewolf or Solo player, like myself, that wants to think about where you want to go, how are you going to do it, take onboard the obvious risks involved, plan out an escape route etc etc blah blah blah and this game is perfect for that. Now I have as Ive said been ingame for four days and have only died at the hands of an opponent once. Due to the room that I frequent, which is perfect for leaning, helping, and getting advice, I have met a few good people along the road for instance last night a guy gave me a saline drip and I gave him a long range optic for his M4,.... obviously theres always that bit of tension when you first meet and that gives the game a bit of a rush or a buzz that you wont find elsewhere within the game world. Those are simply some of the many pro`s or the game as for Cons well you know I have none really as we all know or should do that this game is Alpha and very much a work in progress and I personally as delighted that I signed up now instead of later to be a part of the game`s progression. So in essence,..I love it !!!!

It is yes but I think I have found a specific room that encourages interaction although I have seen shoot first ask questions later merchants in that room ( can you call it a room?) of course the culprit got some in his legs* before I tactically moved away ( ran ). * to me thats more fun to me and more of a pain to him than purely killing him
