I tried looking up what could populate a DayZ server. Nothing popped up and I'd like to see what people mostly look for in a DayZ server as a reference for people trying to populate their server. Give me dem beans and support this!

Who doesn't have a wrist-watch? Admins At Zedlock we understand that other servers admins may play favoritism. At Zedlock we have the opposite. We feel that all players be treated equally. Regarding admin abuse: Not in our server. We constantly have talks with all of our admins to keep everything in line. If the event of admin abuse take place we will rollback and give everyone their stuff. In the event of scripters: If you believe someone is scripting or hacking, Report it to a admin immediately. If damage is done we will rollback the server, Ban the scripter and recover everyone's items. We do not tolerate any scripters of any sort. *Side note: We have TONS of awesome guns, tanks, and many other awesome stuff! NPC's are also armed with survival gear ripe for your taking! As this server is brand new we will be working on it frequently and taking suggestions from users. We have added a few custom vehicle spawns such as the different variants of Bike and Ural.

Maybe I can keep this in mind when trying to populate my server next time :P

Moon cycles are random and there is a full night, 6Hr updates and TONS of vehicles, as well as custom bases.

Just recently disconnected from a server now every server i'm trying to connect to it sticks me at Waiting for host and it never connects to it. All my friends are having the exact same issue. Help anyone?

Looking for some places people most usually put their stuffs. Ever since a server restart everyone has been hoarding all the vehicles/heli's and i'm wondering some locations I can check? Thanks.

So I was sitting in A2 and i've never found the railgun after searching for like ages in there after every restart, on multiple servers. So anyways I lookde it up and this link said they thought it might be disabled.... Well I found railgun ammo... why would there be ammo for a non-existent gun?

So wierd thing... me and my buddies were in A2 in the bunker when suddenly this wierd thing started happening... our screens starting shaking (we hard warm clothing on) and it sounded like explosion and our vision got distorted temporarily. We then went underground cus we heard about lightning and while we were there it started to sound again. suddenly our screens flashed and it sounded like thunder. We then all passed out.. we all lost heavy amounts of blood. It was really wierd and we cant find anything relating to it. Maybe this is a private hive kinda thing? And before we killed two bloodsuckers when the lightning started. Any help with this anyone?

add me on Skype; lodilu27, We've got a few players with us prob about 3-4 very experienced players, we've got a base but i'll give you the details if you can prove you're a decent shot.

So there I am, sitting at Balota airfield, not once have I ever seen a player who wasn't friendly. I had heard of this "bandits" from people who speak of them as an evil folk, ones who kill on sight... These things scared me! I had never known anything but being a bambi! Ok enough with the drama. So I was out in Balota and I was in the field a bit northwest of the airfield looking over the industrial hangers. Someone proceeds to pop a smoke to distract the zeds and I freak out. All I had was a simple winchester! The guy runs up the field and to my amazing luck he spots me. I try to retreat but he runs within shooting distance of me. I aim thru my winchester and I can hear him saying "put down your gun!" My heart was pounding as I aimed at his chest. I immediatly took the shot and it hit him clean in the chest. He shot his compound crossbow and missed me by inches only. I took another shot and rung off another and another until he dropped to the ground. I sat there for a few minutes trying to recover a normal heartbeat. I never thought it would've been THAT intense... Ever since then banditry has been my choice and i've been in a few more battles ;D But those stories are for another time.

Hey everyone, I've had some fun recently but I been kinda getting sick of getting on populated servers trying to a find a least a decent vehicle, but when I do it's either way past repair or it's a trap which I end up dying for. Anyone know any DayZ max vehicle servers? I have cher. Lingor and Namalsk and that's it. Thanks, Lodi

Server updated today, The problem has been eradicated... Just like the zombies :D

Yeah I just started joining and it's been kicking me from a server I joined about 20 minutes ago now its constant kicking can't even join the server and it's the same BattlEye #1 restriction

I respect this guy, Hackers can be cool and fun and annoying sometimes but I really think the game should be played the way it was made and thats natural. It's a lot more fun that way! Sure I get mad when I get shot and loose my stuff but it gets really annoying when a hacker is dropping endless 'nades everywhere and screwing with everyone. I guess that's just my opinion though.

My first night consisted of spawning near Komorovo. I pulled out my flashlight because it was the middle of the night, I ran near a little building a saw a zombie; I literally freaked out and ran into the building I was standing near, I logged off for days way too freaked out to get back on (What was wrong with me?) When I did log back on I literally sat there hiding for probably close to an hour clutching my flashlight close. I heard shuffling and made up my mind I wasn't moving. Turns out 4-5 zombies had spawned and one of them opended the door on me! I freaked out because it was such close quarters and I ran straight into the hoard. I was literally freaking out when I broke one of bones and I tried to abort as quickly as possible, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to do so, and luckily a guy shot off the remaining zombie stragglers. When I asked for help he replied with a quick gunshot to my head. I hope he liked my trust ole' flashlight! My next few lives were basically the same, spawning near a building running and dying was consistent of my first few lives.

Hey everyone, I've recently bought the game (About 2-3 weeks ago) on steam, my experiences have been few and boring to tell you the truth, from getting mauled at midnight by a hoard or getting slaughtered by uncaring players. That's why i'm looking for a group/partner to join! I was looking for a small group not a gigantic 100+ group maybe something more along the lines of 2-5. I am a basically new player, I know MOST of the controls, not all. I know most of the things that will at least keep me alive for a short amount of time on DayZ.
