Problem with this is if you are a survivor and you see >half the players on a server are bandits you'll just find anther server. And it also takes away a major component of the mod. -

How would the group get on comms, would you be providing Teamspeak or Ventrilo etc? Also what if the group members cant get on comms? Finding a decent server with 3 slots available is near on impossible unless the server has just been restarted. Oh and why not just use something like xfire or a Steam group for this. Still aint giving you my GUID. And the system that solves not trusting people is the system where you join a clan / group / RL friends etc. Not some random people you have never played with.

Does seem another easy way to get loot but I am still 50/50 on this. Maybe reduce the percentages so that the chance of spawning is really, really low.

Sorry to burst your bubble and all mate, nice idea etc but... How would the players join the same server? It is hard enough now to even get on the server you want. And I aint gonna give out my GUID to anyone... Finally, alot of people wont be arsed.

20 words or less: Spawning without a weapon

So I imagine the percentages work like this: Chance of stuff spawning = a Area of stuff spawning = b Specific object spawning (in this case mak pistol) = c So, if you feel its to difficult to get a starter weapon why not increase a, b or c? Or just increase c? -
Slightly off topic but I think the forested areas and areas away from buildings etc are too safe, need to up the feeling of surviving.

Your wrong mate, the whole map is 400km2 but only 100km2 is actual land. And I quote: The map is 400km2 in size in total, of which about 100km2 is covered by land. Source: http://resources.bisimulations.com/wiki/Sahrani So Sahrani is over 50% less in size. -

Yep it is the most anti-social game ever and may it continue. But on the plus side there are always communities out there that will open their arms to you. It is entirely up to you how you go about playing DayZ. I can and do play it solo and with a group. Your choice.
