    It does not look awful at all. I think its extremely well done and well thought out, not sure about the pooing bit though! Having an option to change to a minimal HUD or leave it as it is would be cool also. Welll done mate.

    Just so you know, the -nosplash is so that when you load the game you do not get the Bohemia Interactive loading screen etc. It takes you straight to the main menu. Are you sure you are running the game as Combined Operations?

    When you run the game od you have the following in the bottom right corner of the main screen: version 1.60.87580 That is the latest patch you need. (I am not talking about the beta patch btw).

    There is an issue with some code within the mod that is causing people to have low fps. It'll be fixed mate. For now stay on the servers in which your fps is fine. Also Search is your friend. I put in the search box "low fps" and came up with these results.

    Looking at the screenshot you are not running Combined Operations. Your just running Operation Arrowhead.

    Oh sorry, you mean type chat? Next to the right shift button you'll see "/" (on British keyboards), you use that to type in the chat box. To change the type of chat (side (blue), direct (white) etc) press the buttons next to the "/". These buttons are "," and "." on a British keyboard.

    Completely exit Steam and then right click on Steam icon and Run as Administrator. Launch Arma 2. Exit game. Launch Arma 2 OA. Exit game. Not teaching you to suck eggs but please make sure you have the DayZ files in the correct location within your \steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\ folder. In that folder you should have a folder called @dayZ. Within this folder is another ones called Addons. Within the Addons folder you should find 14 dayz files. If all is correct then start steam and click on Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead. You should get 4 options, select the bottom one (Combined Ops). Then try and join a server. Let me know mate.

    Ok, what exactly did you download mate? Was this the patch for the game Arma 2 / OA or was it the latest files for this mod? Once I know that then we should be able to help you.
