How do you class that as a legitimate log off? He logged off having been shot and as he said himself' date=' possibly deprived someone of a kill. If you are going to log off, you need to ask yourself this: "Am I logging off because of a sudden occurrence in Day Z which has adversely affected my character? Would I still be playing if this hadn't occurred? Am I adhereing to the spirit of the game?" Although the OP is obviously a good guy, his log-off wasn't legitimate in that sense. Not that it matters... The installing of the beta patch updates the current beta, it does not replace it. If you havent run the beta before it will create one for you in your main Arma 2 OA directory. There are posts on these forums on how to set up your game to use teh beta patch.

The mod is not being hacked all the time mate. The hackers are in the minority by a long way. It is just some 12 year old spotty nerds that have nothing better to do. Please do buy Arma 2 CO so that you can enjoy the mod. Please remember though, you are buying the game to play the mod. The mod is still in alpha stage and will be for some time I imagine. Expect bugs / game crashes etc whilst testing the mod. As I have put in another thread, we are the guinea pigs that do the testing so that the devs can improve things for all of us. Hope you enjoy it mate!

A lot of the features in ACE would be immense in this mod. Hope some of them make it. Regarding ACRE though, this would require the use of TS3. Many people do not have access to a TS3 server however.

Ok I can see the possibilites of this. But, if you find a map and that map has these markers on it then there must be a risk / award system. You get to the marker where the loot / whatever is and you have to face > 1 quadzillion zombies to actually retrieve said loot!! :D

I aint a bandit but this idea aint a good one! All you are trying to do (it seems) is to nerf people who are bandits.

This alpha stage is going to last a lot longer than what people seem to think. Don't expect a beta anytime soon.
