Old guy sick of going it alone on servers. Ready to start doing the killing instead of getting killed. Teamspeak clans only.

I've been playing about four weeks. As usual, I was going solo, but decided to head north, which is not normal. I stumbled upon my first heli crash site. I saw three zombies. Two were wandering toward me and one was hanging out by the heli. I crawled in between the two walkers, and got to the other side of the heli from the stander. There was a big box of ammo. The stander saw me and came around and I killed him with a single shot from my Winchester. None of the other zombies seemed to notice. So I went around and found an M14 AIM, a FAL and a scoped FAL. I decided with this firepower, I could pick off the other two zombies and take my time. So I grabbed the FAL, shot one, and five more came out of nowhere like a herd of Alpacas. I did the backwards step and shot each. The instant I finished them, six more aggros came out of the heli like it was a freaking Zed clown car. They quickly dispatched me because the spawned right on top of me. Is this normal for a heli crash?

No man. It was instantaneous. I had the chopper in sight when I finished off the last Zed. The instant he went down, six more came out of the heli already aggroed.

Within minutes, and sometimes seconds, I lose connection from every server I join. I get to my character creation and then get a red link. Sometimes my wireless internet connection goes, and sometimes it doesn't. I never drop wireless connection any time other than when I try to play Dayz. What the hell is going on?

I've been playing for a little over two weeks now. I've probably put in twenty hours or so, maybe a little more. Never once have I seen a repairable vehicle. I recon spawn spots all over the map. Not one. I also haven't seen a single military weapon of any kind. Not in barracks. Not in a tent. Not in a deer stand. What am I doing wrong?

I don't think that's it. After a week of getting killed by bandits, I started going to empty or nearly empty servers only. No vehicles in either. None at all. The only vehicles I saw have been used by hackers. I got picked up by a convoy that had a bus, a car and a UAZ. I rode with the car, and we passed through every barricade in the road. The driver didn't bother swerving out of the way of anything. We just ghosted through. I text chatted with him on the vehicle channel. He said everybody in the group was on Teamspeak and they were all together, I rode with him for about five minutes. Then everybody stopped. We all got out of the car, and the driver pulled out an FN FAL and shot me in the face two second later. It was actually kind of funny.
