For the past two nights i have not been able to find any US servers up and running at night. Its European servers. Do the US servers go down at night or is my server list glitched at certain times somehow, which really wouldn't make any sense.

I really like the crashed helicopters in this game. It gives you alot of excitemen when you stumble upon one. I really think there needs to be more rare finds in this game. Examples could be: -Crates hidden in forests, that maybe provide some medical supplies, food , water and a gun. -Dead helicopter/plane pilot caught in the trees by his parachute that could have some good military weapons/gear, like the crashed heli sites do -Graves that have weapons/ammo in them. Can be used only with an entrenching tool. You can add more, but i really like the idea of these. They give people a reason to go out and explore the world. Right now running through forests really only serves as a means to get somewhere faster than by road. I think adding goodies like these could make people spread out more.

The locations would be completely random and rare, so people cant farm the spots or something. They would be more of something you just stumble apon once in a while.

I like the idea, but the fact that it would be 50-50 chance of getting sick really makes this not worth it, considering how rare anti biotics are. -

Lol, learn to spell. when you spell "Liking" as "Likeing". Also, alice packs and enfields dont make you a professional. That is ten minutes of looting in a major city... Also, Your video is really boring. Its 17 minutes of you watching tents talking with an annoying kid. You killed the people already so there is no action. Next time record the killings, edit the video down to 5 minutes and maybe you will have a better video.

Are you supposed to not spawn with a backpack?

Because i havn't been spawning with one. Lost the one i had when i logged in, and whenever i die, i spawn without one. I dont see in the patch notes anyhting about not spawning with one, so is it me? -
I havn't had a problem with them. But i always put on the skin, then put on my civilian clothing, then put the skin on again. It seems to keep me safe.

What i mean by MMO styled servers(Because i don't know the name for them) is each player from the start of the game has to pick a server. He/she plays solely on that server for that character. Can create multiple characters across multiple servers, but only one character per server(For DayZ). I know at the moment this would not be possible, nor would rocket have the funds to do such a thing, but its just an idea for when DayZ is a stand alone game. Pros to MMO-Styled servers: -No server hoppers -No loot farmers. -Multiple characters then possible. -Larger player count per server(This has already been suggested by Rocket). -Players can form relationships with the people on their server, and not lose people that enjoyed playing with. -No admins abusing power. -Easier for friends to get together and stay together. -Clans of players could form rivalries and have awesome territory battles. -Better server stability.(?) -Possibly a way for Rocket to make money(charge for server transfers). Cons to MMO-Styled servers: -If full, many people would not be able to join(would have to find a solution to this one). -Expert vs Novice level servers. How would you be able to change while keeping on one server. -Would probably be a monthly cost to play the game. There are probably a lot more cons to this, so add to the list if you can. Another possibility would be that for each character you create, that character is locked to one server until you die, which you could then stay on that server or switch to another one(which would null out the pro for rocket to make money off transfers). Let me know what you guys think, would this be a good idea for the stand alone DayZ? Or, would it even work this this style of game?

Zeds spawning in buildings is really getting on my nerves...time after time i run into a building, get smacked immediately and pass out/break a bone/bleed. Its really not fair at all.... -

The point you are making isn't the problem, its the system. Zeds smell aweful, and they are used to it. But if they smell something different than their smell, they would recognize it. The problem with the system is that there would then be no point in getting smellier and smellier. -

My only problem with this is that I wouldn't really feel immersed in the game with a scent meter. There is a sound meter, and i can hear. There is a sight meter, and i can see. If there was a smell meter, i couldn't smell it. I feel it would just be another annoyance that i would have to keep track of. I know there is temperature, but i feel like that is something totally different that doesn't affect anything else but myself. If my temperature was detected by zombies or something, then i would probably feel the same way about that system. -
The zombies need to be more dangerous.

Ok, you say its fun and easy because you have guns and tons of ammo to kill them with. Go kill yourself on purpose like i did, losing my NVGs and automatics. Its horrific starting out with nothing. your only chance to survive is to run and if they could hit you while doing that it would be near impossible. I'm not totally against not having a gun, but at the moment they are way to powerful for people starting out. -

I think the infected in the buildings are from people escaping them, but maybe they do spawn. I have seen a lot of buildings with infected in them. More than there should be -

Some things that irritate me with this patch Finding zeds inside of buildings. When you have no weapon, and you go into a building with zeds inside, there isn't much you can do... A lot of the times you get trapped and cant move...which means you die. Please, if a player avoids zeds inside buildings, make them walk out. No morphine on start. Zeds have a random chance to break your bone it seems. If you get hit once on spawn and break a bone, your forced to crawl a long way to find morphine...its really not a fun mechanic. -

When i get in to a server, i can play, but i get this message saying i have 1.7.1, and the server is running 1.7.1.1. I downloaded the latest patch 1.7.1.1, Six launcher says i have it, but i still get that overlay. Also i cant see my little box that tells my my temp, blood, zombies ect...

Was wondering if it would be possible to get a statistics on where people go in the world with different events/time, such as night time, or rain ect... Maybe get a map with dots posting where people are at those times?
