It would be great if everybody posted their Mouse configuration in Arma 2 settings. Also if you can include what windows sensitivity and dpi/mouse settings for gaming mouses that you are using..(If you know them. If not, its ok.) I have all my graphics set on very high and my ATOC is set to All trees and grass and I can defend myself better than lots of the low settings, trees turned off laptop wielding Alienware nubs out there (jk). This game is way to beautiful on very high and way to ugly on low to be turning it off due to excuses and placebo affects of mediocre competitiveness. In fact, when my graphics card burned out and I was forced to play with my dedicated graphics from my intel I5 (25fps max low) I couldn't identify a single thing and I always had this crappy feeling and ended up turning the game off after 10 minutes. Thats why alot of people that quit playing this game usually have their settings on low and gamers playing with beast machines are still playing this game after a year and a half.

I was just thinking about that. The new patch is not easy and Im more focused on surviving than killing. There are dead bodies everywhere on the coast. I wonder whats been happening? ;)

Boot Bandits is not a clan, we are a community of fun gaming mofo's. We play all types of games but our main game is DayZ. We have been playing DayZ since summer of 2012 and to be honest some of our members are burnt out on DayZ just waiting for SA to come out. Some are playing other games like Wasteland for Arma2 and Arma3, A.C.E., Warthunder, CS:GO, APB Reloaded, Garry's Mod, 7daystodie, Rust, etc. Then you have a few people like me that play Overwatch, Dayzero Podagorsk, Epoch and some other DayZ mods. Im writing this post personally because even though Ive been playing DayZ for so long and have over 2,300 hours in Arma 2 OA, I still want more DayZ and more of the good old times. Also, we have members from Europe and America so doesn't matter either. We have people playing all the time night and day. Yep and same with Bean Bandits. But the founder of the community made the name way back last year without knowing about these two clans. But yeah people who wear the clan tag get mistaken a lot for these clans. Most of us don't even wear clan tags because we're just a group of friends not a clan.

The good old days of Namalsk are gone. Most people nowadays only play those buggy pvp servers with bases, ai, gun drops, fully repaired vehicles everywhere and spawn with almost everything. Too bad, cause when Namalsk came out it was special very special especially when we didn't know anything about the map and we learned it as we played. Anyway you might find a European vanilla namalsk server during the day but don't expect nothing big. Lets hope some new maps that come out are real good. Like now Im playing DayZ Unleashed and the map Napf is pretty good. Nothing what Lingor, Panthera, and Namalsk brought us in the old days.

Dont listen to some of these people, Rocket. No matter what comes out players will always cry and complain. They are never satisfied but they play the game all the time and they post all the time in the DayZ forums. Ironic right? I can see alot of improvements in the zombies since the E3 build. The loot is looking nice and so are the weapons. So if I see improvements I can expect alot in the future. Im in no hurry as long as work and progress comes with this wait.

Hello. Im looking for some people to play with. I currently play with 2 groups. One that's European during the day. And another that's American at night since I live in the US. Im 28 and Im a hardcore fan of DayZ . Ive been playing it since August. And right now Im into some of the new mods and maps. There's a new mod called DayZ Overwatch which is alot like Breaking Point but with some cool new features that I just started to play. Really I play whatever everybody wants to play but I really like those new mods. I also play some wasteland and Island Life. I love the fact that everybody loves the old bandit skin and they will be rocking it when the patch comes out. They seem to all be noobs becasue in reality the old bandit skin is the opposite of camouflage and you can spot them from miles away as little white pixels on a gren backround. So its gonna be easy hunting all you noobs. Everybody knows this son thats why in breaking point its better to put on a skin instead of running around with the bandit skin.

We are a group of four Americans. That play DayZ Origins and regular Dayz. We are chill and fun to play with. We play at all hours but mostly during the night on Eastern time. But during the day we have two that play. So it really doesn't matter if you are European. You must have some experience playing since we get really hardcore with gunfights and we need some more tactical players with good communication. We use teamspeak to communicate. That would be very boring. The game is fun due to the challenge when I play on servers with increased loot spawns and guns everywhere I set up loads of tents, rape the server for a few days and never come back. Very boring. Also FYI to all you noob admins out there. Too many helis makes the server very crappy. Nobody remembers what DayZ used to be. Except Rocket who is trying to bring it back in the SA.

Thats funny you put wind factor into this game and the bullet steers left or right. Look at the grass, does it look like the wind is pushing it to one direction? No. So nothing indicates wind. So this is a very bad idea. And dont be putting more crap on my screen telling me in which direction the wind is going and at what speed. If I cant see wind in game graphics than its not immersive. Pass on this feature please.

Im looking to meet some new peeps mostly from the US or anywhere in the western hemisphere to play Chernarus with me since I got a few friends that play DayZ but they never want to play Chernarus. You have to be mature and this means no squeakers. This is where im different from other people.
