    i dont usually want to play with other players. there is no right or wrong way to play this game, right? forcing me to get with other players to put on a freakin band aid tells me im playing the game wrong. its bad enough i cant stick my own arm with a bloodpack, i have to find gun, ammo, knife, matches, hatchet/wood just to hunt. thats easy enough, but there must be a way for me to make me stop bleeding, especially when the blood starts flowing with 1 hit, and i can bleed out from a bloody nose. the broken bones on top of all that. ive been shot before right after administering blood. there is a reason i dont trust you in game, and why force me take more unnecessary risks unless i choose too? besides, if the friends i have arent available right now, why would you want me to make new ones?

[/quote'] FYI rocket says the correct term for this game is infected, but zombie is used widely as an informal approximation ALSO!----> breaking bones too often? people should let go of the notion of that if something is higher than before, its too high, and it lower, its too low. Also the notion that harder is always worse. Zombies are a bigger threat now, which is good. they were pussies before hand. if rocket did say that then they absolutely should not be rotting. because they are not zombies. that would explain why they can run so fast. can you tell me where he said this so i can see for myself? and dont send me to that youtube video, im not signing up for anything like that. edit: in that link he does not actually call them "infected" he basically calls them fast zombies. but whatever.

[/quote'] why would there be a performance impact? once the zed hears a noise, just make it go to the new location then act -more or less- random like it was before. all this would do would is make the zombie move to a new specific location. then it returns to the original script-standing around or walking in circles like they do anyway, like they never saw or heard anything. would give the appearance of investigating an area, but wouldnt (i dont think, but i really dont know) have any performance impact over normal. would there be a difference if i prone up behind it? i mean as far as spamming my location. also, i wouldnt have it run into a building, id have it run in a straight line in the direction of the sound until it comes to a barrier, like a wall. then return to normal scripting.

    Yes. Last hotfix I believe. I tested it last night with my buddy. It is very subtle but it works. Does it work at any distance? What is the volume of it? Like a gunshot or a foot step? can you define fast hearbeat? i saw someone with a really fast heartbeat. i assumed bandit (i would be dead in a min) so i shot first and eliminated my target. it was scored a murder. now i guess im a bandit!

    if these guys would read the first page, then 1 or 2 more pages these threads would be minus hundreds of posts and dozens of pages. there is no sense in repeated the same retarded questions or making the same suggestions 4000 times in the same thread. like i said before, it makes this entire forum hard to read and a waste of time. i dont know how rocket can read all this crap AND do updates and hotfixes.

    no way. no way. i choose not to use a microphone for this game, as i play on my laptop sitting next to my wife who is watching her stupid cooking shows. so without a microphone and messed up chat, im on my own most of the time. and i prefer it that way. once in a while i will partner up with with a group, but mostly its just me. i do not want to be forced to engage with anyone. some of you think pvp is bad now, what do you think will happen with forced contact?

  14. [/quote'] No. Nothing needs to be done to hostile survivors. It is fine right now, people getting shot and robbed like they would be in real life. There is no room for the weak. i love pvp. but spawn camping does need to go. spawning is something that has to happen to play a game, but camping these areas is for cowards. it should be a against the law. there have been games where spawn camping was a bannable offense.

  16. but its not. its a problem when they do start running at you from 400m away and you cant lose them for whatever reason. i was sneaking to find a weapon and i was making noise standing still. run. when i do find a weapon there isnt time to pick it up as i start bleeding from one hit, and i already used my bandage from the first time i got hit. ran into a nearby building, looked out the window and saw 19 zeds standing around, turned around and had 11 more inside. (took screenshots if you want to see) all that from standing still, (crouching) to running 25 feet into a building. its not carebearish, its overboard. i do like the new starting supplies though, we just need to tone down the zombie's senses. funny how they can tell the difference between me stepping on a stick and another zombie from the other side of that building on the other side of town.

I personally won't miss you much, the less "14 years old badasses" around, the happier I am. Sorry if was dead wrong with my age guess. Indeed, sorry I would be, as if you are any older, then it's even worse than I thought. i think you age guess was too high. 701-july 2001. hell turn 11 in a couple o'weeks!
