More police type gear in general would be a welcome addition. This is a really good idea, similar to a military loot spawn but with cop gear instead.

I would like to be able to take my victims eyes out of their sockets and place them in a jar for keeping. Nothing is more pleasing to my eyes than other players eyes in my eye jar. Lets take trophies to a whole new level. Lets take peoples eyes! Players could choose their eye colour when they create their character. This is a great idea so we can have many different colours of eyes! Eyes would come in different states, some being yellowed or scarred depending on what that individual went through. If underground bases are added into standalone, we could place our jars of eyes on shelves, proudly displaying them. Also, you could use eyes as bait for catching wild animals, fishes, birdses, or other eyeball enthusiasts.

This is a fantastic idea. Intestines can be used to craft multiple objects, such as condoms, sausages (that's for the meat that's left over), sinew, gloves, puppets, rope, water tight covers for things such as rifles, knife blades, confiscated fingers etc.

Really? Google DayZ hacks. Go on, try it. Ive seen hackers in the standalone already. Ive seen hackers on youtube and in screenshots. They are there, they exist and they are growing bigger.

It would be cool if you could find already dropped airdrops lying in fields randomly, similar how helicopter crashes happened maybe. They could be caught up in trees and you would need to use a tool or something to get it down. Would be kinda neat to be in the middle of the woods and see a fluttering white parachute with a big box full of half broken stuff/a few good things in it. But scripted event where a plane flies by and drops it off? No, that does not fit DayZ. Only previously dropped ones from the time the infection was still being fought by the army/police.

I found mine in one of those office buildings. I dropped it later for an M4 which had more ammo.

I don't know much about helicopters, but this seems allot smaller than an Mi-8, and that's a good thing. Mi-8s are too big for DayZ, something smaller like this helicopter would make more sense.

So ive spent several hours playing now and I am liking what I see. I have made my way all the way north, gathered a scoped rifle, handgun, nice clothing, big backpack and all the fixin's. Through various points of my journeys I have encountered blood loss, starvation and dehydration. This has made my once colourfull vision a dull, depressing grey. In the mod you could simply eat food and hunt for meat (which regained more blood). In the standalone this seems it is not the case. I have followed direction of a youtube video on eating/drinking till my stomach is full and waiting for colour to come back. This has proved futile, as I have eaten a whole bunch of food and drank many drinks as well as waited over an hour and I have yet to see even a slight change in colour. There must be a way of regaining blood other than using saline or bloodbags, right? If so, how would one do this?

Yeah I could see this being a great asset in the standalone if implemented. Vision is so important that without glasses in certain conditions you might not be able to see that sniper sitting in the treeline. But, put on the appropriate type of glasses and increase your survivability.

You beat DayZ when you force someone to obey your every command because of your sheer power and greatness bandit, hero and survivor alike.

Find a specimen you think is ripe for picking. Follow that specimen until the opportunity arises where he is not expecting interaction. Walk up behind him, put your rifle to his head and tell him to get on the ground. Handcuff him, loot his gun and then sit down beside him and explain your situation. After that, keep him subdued enough that he will follow you and if he betrays you (trys to run away, stab you in the back etc.) break his legs. This fellow will be your friend forever. Sometimes you need to discipline the new found friend with some light person to person interaction. I have found both punches to the gut and baseball bats to the legs, arms and feet work well to train and condition your new found friend to be loyal and never leave you! Just remember, don't interact with them too hard or you could damage them beyond repair and then they are no use to you. Enjoy! Happy new year to you and your new friend!
