    Thank you, I will try this all now and the thread that you posted is the exact same problem. Once I have tried all the steps, I will let you know if it fixed it. Again, thank you :). P.S. It is the steam version, seemed the best way to get the game.

    I have viewed tutorials and downloaded all the items that I need to play DayZ but when I try to join a server, I keep getting the same message appearing, "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernarus" If anyone know's what I have to do to fix this, I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you.
