Honestly the only way to combat hackers is gonna have to be more admins or a whitelist.

The first server that we are running is UK300, this is a public hive server and is secured by Gotcha Anti-Hack. This is a fast and reliable server with 5 restarts per day with quicker restart intervals at peak time. We currently have a pretty hefty player base of ~30 players average during the day. You must've been god damn lucky then! You should still stick around our community though, getting yourself whitelisted on our private server will be the best thing you can do for your DayZ experience, if you stick to public servers, something will happen at one point or another.

[uPDATED] * Applied a change from the upcoming DayZ patch which increases the amount of Zeds spawned dependant on the area that you are in. (Previously only 40 zeds would spawn no matter where you were) [FIXED] * Fixed an issue that could cause high memory usage. [FIXED] * Fixed the ability to publish unauthorised objects to the hive. [FIXED] * Fixed the ability to auto-repair damaged vehicles.

DayZ Unleashed is a fairly new server and was doing well running on it's private hive, we would regularly get 25+ players, this did bring massive hacker attacks and now we have had to activate the whitelist. However since then this has dropped the player count by about 20 players. This made us think, we need an easy way to whitelist where you don't have to register for anything, all you have to do is visit a webpage and follow the instructions. We have now achieved that goal of 'just visiting a webpage', as far as we know, we have the simplest whitelist method known and you don't have to register anywhere at all to do it. All you need to do is get your GUID, visit http://dayz.frak.eu/whitelist/ and fill in the form that is on the page with your GUID and in-game name, thats it, no registering and no jumping through hoops. We have now improved the ways that you can access our whitelisted servers. To begin with, we have three different methods of applying to the whitelist. We are hoping that over the weekend the website will be able to handle requests where you just enter your GUID and it will do the rest for you.
