  1. Server has been updated to DayZ 1.7.6.1 to see if we can fix any bugs, naming changed slightly. If you are a new DayZ player this is the place for you to join, no confusing extra mods to install, just pure vanilla DayZ.

    DayZ Mod 1.7.6.1 Hotfix

    Ok what exactly does 'Fixed version issues' mean? I have my server moaning at me to update but I can't see the point, all I see is food items removed.
  3. The server has been updated to 1.7.6 and the 'Script Restriction #20' kick was the first thing that we got fixed.

DayZ - Unleashed Protection (0.0.1 Alpha Release) Unleashed Protection (UP) is a program that I have been working on which will connect to your DayZ server and print out logs, enable whitelisting and run scheduled restarts. As this is a Alpha version there are a lot of features missing and it will currently only connect to one server at a time. This was first used on our DayZ Unleashed server and I have got it to the point now where we have actually replaced Gotcha Anti-Hack. The reasons for writing this software was because Gotcha Anti-Hack was written in .NET and used far too much resources. I can leave UP running on our server for 3-4 days with over 200 whitelisted GUIDs and it used no more than 2.5MB RAM, put that in perspective with Gotcha Anti-Hack which used about 200MB after a few hours. The main features of this program are: Store as many servers are you wish and set them to auto connect when the program starts up. All chat, join, kicks, parts etc are echoed to the "Server Logs" tab. Control your players from the dedicated players tab, right clicking a player will give you options. Easily create a whitelist with the settings that you require. Setup simple server restarts or specify a .bat/.exe file to run instead of sending "#restart" to the server. All written using the WinAPI in C++ without any .NET crap and minimal resource usage. Please note that as this is a very early Alpha release you do have limited functionality at the minute but everything implemented does work as intended. All our code has been written from scratch with the help of VRocker who did a lot of work on the connection between Battleye and Unleashed Protection. Please let us know if you find any bugs and to help us fix them quicker, tell us how you managed to cause the bug in the first place.     If you're using Gotcha to restart the server without setting an executable it's restart method no longer works. The problem is Gotcha (and my own custom built program) actually send "#restart" to the server, which forces to the map to restart and refresh all the loot spawns etc, now the problem here is that sending "#restart" no longer loads in any objects from the database. I'm not sure if this is to do with the new beta patch or the way that 1.7.5.1 actually handles things now but if Matt/R4Z0R49 could look into this it would be of much use. We rely heavily on our restart program and at the minute we can't restart the server with it because of this issue.

    So, we used to be able to just send #restart to the server to restart the server (Gotcha does this as far as I know) but that no longer works. It will reload the map but it doesn't load any of the objects back in anymore. Is there anyway to fix this?

    I can confirm, still getting kicked for refueling, thank fuck I don't have to restart the server every time I update the filters though.

    I just tried this and ran load scripts into the server but it seems to have done nothing. Will check again after the next server restart.

    Will do, think it's to do with zeds hitting vehicles actually. The scripts.txt log file is nearly 1GB in size, slight problem there.

    Hmm interesting, our server was working fine and then battleye decided to update (1.191) and it's happened ever since then. Edit: Changed it to a 1 and it seems to be working now. Wonder why its doing that all of a sudden.
