It will put the next magazine with the highest amount of ammo. So if you only shot 10 from one mag then reload you should have 30. Reload again without shooting and you will still have 30. However if you empty both spare mags to 19 and reload it should display 20. As far as I know.

Anyway, back on topic. Is there any need to chop down trees? Admittedly you could use them to block roads to stop vehicles, use them as a temporary bridge, make planks, etc. Ultimately not a priority until we need materials to build encampments. Besides surely we could just chop the tree with the axe and use that wood? Just delete the tree after using it several times. that way it cuts down on the server memory and no physics needed.

Here are the Details on the Hero skin that everyone wants!
SumoS replied to {CQF} PFC Demyan's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Interesting fact. The Hero skin with glasses looks very much like Chuck Norris Bandits beware... -
I keep hold of it and die shortly later. I drink it and have good luck. Now I just drink it. It is cursed I tell you!

ideas list: add farms that can be built and building these farms can let you raise livestock cows sheep horses etc etc and you can fortify these farms with planks bins and sheets of metal note the farm would be a big shack or cabin with fences around it in the farms you could be able to dig wells and plant crops aswell and set up a trading post Farming and growing your own food to create a sustainable lifestyle will be in standalone when they make zoned areas for HQs add prisons and maybe a mental aslyum with more dangerous zombies in them but more rewarding loot. Interesting idea. Potentially these could be a source of high end medical items. e.g. anti depressants, defibrillator etc. make the zombies as scary as dead islands zombies. Dead island had it's flaws but you are correct in saying that zombies need to be more of a threat make guns and food spawn alot less this is where the farms would come into place. Agreed. make essential items scarce. This will prolly get balanced. add community building like say a group clears out a prison they can take that prison over and fortify it RTS style with the planks and furniture they find and then the group could make farms outside the prison and whenever the group leaves the game the fort is saved and next time the group plays dayz commander finds a server with no existing fort in a prison and asks the group to continue their fort at that server (sorry if i made it confusing). Reinforcements may get implemented. However, the place will prolly not get saved. You need to guard it. That is the risk that you run in guarding that place. i think a ww2 map should be added like stalingrad with soviet zombies and german zombies and harsher winters. Later on. Not a priority at all. gas grenades like tear gas should be added and there could be gasmasks to combat the gas effects. Could be implemented rappeling should be added like if a player finds a rappeling harness he could rapple down church towers and buildings. Then we would need to implement climbing. Not much of a priority as this may be buggy as hell. Besides this isn't Assassin's Creed climbing head high objects should be added. Arguable. Try doing that with all of your gear. Maybe possible if you are not carrying anything. tree harnesses should be added so players can climb higher up a tree to cut the whole thing down (risk of injury) Just drive a car into it tools for self transfusion of bloodpacks should be added. Not possible. buildings like hospitals should have 4 floors but no lights but there could be a basement with a generator that you could fuel up. Interesting idea that has been put across before. Potentially implemented soon. you should be able to refuel at petrol stations but each petrol station only has 1 or 2 jerry cans worth of fuel. Better yet make most of them scarce. Empty as people would have panic bought. weapons need more realistic damage because i tryed killing a bandit with a full makarov mag and he did not die (has happened before) Hit detection problems or a poor shot. Or he is a script kiddie thats all sorry for grammar mistakes or walls of text Good ideas but most of these have been discussed before. At least you spaced out your points and didn't have a block of text.

Makes sense. By that same logic we might as well have a 'Looking for Clan' forum section as well.

Not sure if I found a hacker/bandit camp.
SumoS replied to ocelot07's topic in New Player Discussion
It was in the game yonks ago. It was removed from the spawn lists a while back so it is around a 90% chance that if you see one it was hacked in. A lot of people seem to have them regardless. -
Agreed Gog. If it is in the RemoteExec file there must have been some foul-play at work. The question is: Does that mean it was executed by that person? Or It was executed on that person?
-
Do the script like you are infected ;)
-
Nice. Will try later I guess. no decent recording gear at work. Will try and put on my best British newscaster voice.
-
What accents would best fit your script? What angle you looking for?
-
Surely it was just saved in the vehicle? It could still potentially be hacked in.
-
Potentially. A Hacker could cause a crash and the pilot would be the one with the published AirDestruction entry.
-
Go in to gameplay options. there should be a tab for the 'UI', select the Debug UI
-
Indeed but as the Day Z slogan goes ''Don't get attached to your stuff'' That includes mechanics and features.
-
Another option is always handy but this will not be an option in the final product. He is testing for the standalone remember. Your state of humanity is displayed with your skin. (This can be bugged anyway) Food + water flash as indicators. Blood changes your ability to see the world around you (colours/sound) Temperature has a gauge. Score is tracked on the scores tab. Not much else you need to see. You are not supposed to know how many zombies are on the server as this can give people's approximate locations away. The debug monitor can be turned on but if you leave it permanently on you are putting yourself at a disadvantage. Use it to check stuff but turn it off after you are done. That way you have the option but are not at an advantage against anyone else.
-
Listen to this while you are doing it.
-
Indeed. It was never designed to be permanent. It goes against what Rocket's view of the game is. He wants a minimalist UI with subtle indicators for all statuses. The debug monitor was used in the debugging process only so it was being removed at some point anyway. If you want it on, turn it on but you will find that your status indicators wont work properly then.
-
Pretty much mate. It was in the remote execution file as well.

Lingor Island, Hacked weapons already

Wtf? You contracted the zombie disease? -
Never helped anyone but now have hero skin!

Hero Skin- Kinda looks like- http://www.ifc.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/011812-chuck-norris-expendables-2.jpg -
Sneaking up on them and head-shotting them with a pistol? Now that would push my buttons ;)

Your human does naturally go up over time to a certain point. You could have done something that potentially bumped you into hero skin territory. Regardless, welcome to the club. I dub thee Sir GuBuTuP of Berezino. -
I have seen an entry on this by someone I know not to be hacking. Quite confusing to be honest.
-
Hmm I could do with another man bag... Also if you re-enable your debug monitor your blood, temperature, food and thirst gauges will not change from green. You will need to deactivate it to see them properly
