So i got both arma 2 and arma 2 operation arrowhead. Now i'm ready to download the mod (btw spent 40$ on those JUST for this mod). I went on youtube to find some "How to install dayz" vids. all are either outdated (back when i guess there was 7 files to download) or use some specific downloader program that the user had to download arma2/arma2 OA from. I got mine from gamestop.com pc downloader since i had store credit. So i go on here to download it, and it takes me to a page saying "use sixlauncher" or "Dayzcommander". I tried the sixlauncher, takes me to another window, and says "download now". doesn't say what i'm downloading, just "download now". so i download, and it gives me a spam of some price is right thing, a few knock off flash games, some sort of "fighterprogram" that i guess is a knock off mcafee scanner. etc. This crap made my pc go dinasour slow. After almost 3 hours of deleting, scanning, uninstalling, etc, i finally got rid of it all (that i know of). my pc is faster again, but not as fast as before that download. To sum it up. WHere do i download dayz without some spam program, or unecissary program? Also is there any "how to" guide that doesn't use... i think it's torrent. One that's friendly to just having the game downloaded from gamestop.com, or things similar.
