Hey there, I loose my weapons basically on a daily basis due to bugs but that never encouraged me to stop playing, it's just making us stronger. There is no game that comes to my mind that I would still continue playing when having things like that keep happening so often, gotta love DayZ and especially the people in here. I played the games for the majority of my life and I never stumbled upon a helpful and a nice community as this one here :)

If anyone is looking for some animals I found a couple of herds scattered in between Prud castle and Grishino tree line with ponds and rivers. PS: Have anyone had a bug where house fireplace wouldn't warm you at all ? I didn't test it several times just once.

Now when you mentioned your buddies I did remember you guys taking on bandits in Svetlo, my bad. Don't blame me for thinking that as most DayZ players love to kill the fresh spawns just for the amusement. Keep up the good work though :)

I'm not a fond of that as well, they should limit them to at least 1km close to any bigger town or a place of interest. My main priority of making a base would be to hide it somewhere and not having a giant penis shaped base in the middle of a field on some popular route.

My stash got robbed, I've had an AUG and UMP45. I wanted to try them for the first time today but when I logged back in all I saw was the chopped tree where my guns where, thought it was well hidden but apparently it wasn't :/ So that's about it, sad day for me ^-^

From what I've noticed it's more of a hit and miss. I can pass through a town without finding anything except "trash" loot but on the next town its like heaven.

That's some X files worthy action right there :) But on a serious note I believe it's a desync combined with a broken hit registration.

188 pages and going strong, by the way where do you guys find vests, I think I've just been unlucky with them. Also found an AUG on a heli crash, I assume the mags only spawn there as well, right ?

Yesterday I went to check the coast, there was a huge deathmatch in Electro with around 10 players, some geared some not. Some would die and run back and try again, it was quite sad to be honest. I'll stick to inland again as the coast is cancer. I usually try and deal with squads who kill the fresh spawns but after I get one for example, other two will just camp it out until their friend comes and gets his gear back.

I don't usually use backpacks so I prefer sidearms, also it's got that cool effect for me. Also my favourite combo is with a sawed off shotgun, doesn't take much space and fits easily in a vest.

I guess this'll be my new weapon of choice! Honestly I can't wait for this to be implemented :)

Few days ago I decided to meet with a friend just above Cherno forest. Next thing you know I hear shots, many shots actually! I look down the Cherno 500 meters away from my position and see a massive deathmatch of 10 players at least by some random house at northern part of the town near the football field. I decided to join in from the sides and killed 3 of them from said distance. Next thing you know there's 2 players rushing my position and I managed to get a headshot on both of them. Using blaze is still challenging for me and guess I was pretty lucky there. My friend started moving through a tree line to meet me when all of a sudden some guy jumps on him, I fired 2 shots but missed and my friend died. While I was reloading he managed to break my legs and make me bleed, as well happened to him by me. Next 5 minutes we were crawling, hiding behind the trees and trying to get each other with few zeds on our backs. Luckily for me he had a couple of zeds more on him and there it was, my chance to go for it and kill him. Just a few seconds after he died I started getting shots from which I assumed it was the closest apartment building in Chapaevsk. I rolled and rolled and rolled until I get into a cover and bandaged, by then my screen was already mostly grey. In a matter of seconds I aimed down the sight for the upper floors of the apartment and spotted a ghilied sniper and wounded him. Just a few second later another player with an SKS came from behind and finished me. Wish I'd used my Shadowplay option from Nvidia to save the last xx amount of minutes, didn't had so much fun in a while I'll admit. Also since then, blaze became one of my favourite guns even though I always disliked it :)

I don't remember as well but you could try deleting your DayZ config files. Upon login into a game they'll recreate itself again and I assume it's going to be by the default then.

I also wondered something, it's about the scoped Winchester. Is it normal that your screen kinda goes black after shooting with said weapon after aiming down sight. It's impossible to see where my shots are landing when the camera somehow gets stuck inside the scope.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but as the title states I've lost numerous weapons and I'm getting really frustrated up to a point where I should just take a break until this issue is fixed. I avoid climbing ladders with guns in my hands, I make sure to place them on my back first. From what I've noticed is that once I'm not able to remove a rifle from my hands it means I surely lost my gun, neither relogging helps as they completely vanish. Anyone has any insight on this or perhaps a solution, would really help me a lot!

Will give it a try if it happens again but I have to admit since I stopped vaulting much I didn't had any issues, hopefully that's the reason :)

Indeed I am, it's the Wobo's server which is usually full, had no idea that could be the actual reason. I'll now pay attention on how populated servers I'm playing until they manage to solve that.

I'm aware of all the bugs above but it's none of those. I've lost Mosin, CR527, Winchester, Magnum etc. Just imagine running around with your weapon in hand and you want to place it on your back, now my next step would be to open my inventory and press the red X button, as the hotbar still has delays therefore I avoid using it. Now the thing is that nothing happens when I press X, weapon locks into my hands and only relogg could solve that but then my weapon disappears. I honestly have no idea what should I avoid or how to stop this from happening except stop playing the game for a bit, it happens on a daily basis.
