I got use to shift (default sprint) mostly from the other games, never used your method for sprinting.

The only thing I could think of is Steams overlay keybind ( for me shift + o). I could try and rebind it from shift, that might be the cause of it but it's just an assumption. @TheFarm I'll give it a try :)

Blame it on my poor english but if I understood you guys well what you're saying is that what I've asked is how it is actually. We can't be sprinting and be able to open an inventory ? And the method I presented is actually just a bug ?

Just give me few rags, ammo and something to open canned food and I'm good. I'm a very simple person ;) Can't wait to see people who overstock their inventories with weight system in.

Yesterday a friend and me where driving in a V3S and all of a sudden blue screened out of nowhere. Friend who was driving seen me getting ran over and me bleeding from so many places. Couple of minutes later he told me he got catapulted from V3S and died. I didn't know anything of my destiny until I logged day later and seen my character all greyed and bleeding, happily I survived.

In 200h I've seen only one PSO-1 and also haven't found an AKM in a while.

I log on servers with 5 or less people and within a few minutes see a server hopper on NWAF so I kill them.

I'm for a second option. Growing beard over time without being able to shave yourself or make a facial you like wouldn't be fun. If you really go with grow over time option make us be able set on start what type of beard would you go for. Not everyone has the same beard and seeing that would soon become dull.

I have an extra Mosin, ammo and some useful items that I would like to stash, incase I die it would come in handy to have some extra gear hidden somewhere. I've never did something like that, could use an advice. Now onto questions: 1. I would assume weapons could degrade after some time under weather influence so does weather actually affects them and does trees protect from rain 2. Do drybags stand to its name in this game :) 3. What would be my best bet: woods, house/shed etc. (in the middle of nowhere and well hidden ofcourse) 4. For how long the gear could be there before it disappears and what cause such a thing apart from new patch hitting stable I can't think of anything else to ask so if you have some extra tip it would really help :)

Unfortunately, the server I had gear was down for most of the day and when it showed up everything was gone, even my blackskull balaclava =(

Didn't want to make a new thread so I'll just continue this one. So this week I was grinding some gear and everything is still where I've placed it, gladly. I managed to fill two hunting bags and I still have a Mosin on the ground. Wednesday will be here soon so I wonder do I need to equip at least one of my bags and take a Mosin in my hands before Wednesday reset. What would definately get deleted ?

I heard it if someone eats your previous body and you respawn your new character will have the symptoms, probably false but you never know.

Whenever I find a magazine for CR527 I tend to go look for the weapon itself as I love it, a scope would really be a nice bonus :)

Alright, thanks for the quick answers. You got a good point with hunting bags, I should definitely go with that and place it in the woods somewhere then. I'll wait for wednesday incase 0.51 comes to stable.

Nicely written guide but what would definitely improve it is an actual Chernarus+ map with a line (route) made in paint or any similar program. Not that I need it but I assume it would come in handy for some people.

You might want to add is it on regular or hardcore server and perhaps as a bonus if you're EU or NA for example. OT: I have FNX sight, been sitting on my character for over a month. Would like to get my hands on your PSO-1 if you find it as a fair trade, perhaps add something else with it if you find anything interesting from me.
