I don't usually use backpacks so I prefer sidearms, also it's got that cool effect for me. Also my favourite combo is with a sawed off shotgun, doesn't take much space and fits easily in a vest.

I guess this'll be my new weapon of choice! Honestly I can't wait for this to be implemented :)

Few days ago I decided to meet with a friend just above Cherno forest. Next thing you know I hear shots, many shots actually! I look down the Cherno 500 meters away from my position and see a massive deathmatch of 10 players at least by some random house at northern part of the town near the football field. I decided to join in from the sides and killed 3 of them from said distance. Next thing you know there's 2 players rushing my position and I managed to get a headshot on both of them. Using blaze is still challenging for me and guess I was pretty lucky there. My friend started moving through a tree line to meet me when all of a sudden some guy jumps on him, I fired 2 shots but missed and my friend died. While I was reloading he managed to break my legs and make me bleed, as well happened to him by me. Next 5 minutes we were crawling, hiding behind the trees and trying to get each other with few zeds on our backs. Luckily for me he had a couple of zeds more on him and there it was, my chance to go for it and kill him. Just a few seconds after he died I started getting shots from which I assumed it was the closest apartment building in Chapaevsk. I rolled and rolled and rolled until I get into a cover and bandaged, by then my screen was already mostly grey. In a matter of seconds I aimed down the sight for the upper floors of the apartment and spotted a ghilied sniper and wounded him. Just a few second later another player with an SKS came from behind and finished me. Wish I'd used my Shadowplay option from Nvidia to save the last xx amount of minutes, didn't had so much fun in a while I'll admit. Also since then, blaze became one of my favourite guns even though I always disliked it :)

I don't remember as well but you could try deleting your DayZ config files. Upon login into a game they'll recreate itself again and I assume it's going to be by the default then.

I also wondered something, it's about the scoped Winchester. Is it normal that your screen kinda goes black after shooting with said weapon after aiming down sight. It's impossible to see where my shots are landing when the camera somehow gets stuck inside the scope.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but as the title states I've lost numerous weapons and I'm getting really frustrated up to a point where I should just take a break until this issue is fixed. I avoid climbing ladders with guns in my hands, I make sure to place them on my back first. From what I've noticed is that once I'm not able to remove a rifle from my hands it means I surely lost my gun, neither relogging helps as they completely vanish. Anyone has any insight on this or perhaps a solution, would really help me a lot!

Will give it a try if it happens again but I have to admit since I stopped vaulting much I didn't had any issues, hopefully that's the reason :)

Indeed I am, it's the Wobo's server which is usually full, had no idea that could be the actual reason. I'll now pay attention on how populated servers I'm playing until they manage to solve that.

I'm aware of all the bugs above but it's none of those. I've lost Mosin, CR527, Winchester, Magnum etc. Just imagine running around with your weapon in hand and you want to place it on your back, now my next step would be to open my inventory and press the red X button, as the hotbar still has delays therefore I avoid using it. Now the thing is that nothing happens when I press X, weapon locks into my hands and only relogg could solve that but then my weapon disappears. I honestly have no idea what should I avoid or how to stop this from happening except stop playing the game for a bit, it happens on a daily basis.

Or use their "natural deodorent :P" to avoid getting noticed by zombies, like in Walking Dead :)

There's nothing better then coming back home from a job at evenings and have to play on nights only servers, thank god for accelerated times. We all know that majority of our community are possibly people in their twenties but even for teens that come back after school and not being able to enjoy much with 24/7 cycles is not interesting.

Besides some obvious issues I really want to see some better tools for commentators and maybe handle the commentary situation better. Tools felt clunky and it's really easy to miss out on some action.. actually when I think about it, we've maybe seen 30% of action and rest was missed. If we already have 2 commentators why isn't there any option that with one click they would be able to swap onto another commentator screen that actually found some action. I would really like to see them focus on this part as it's really important for us to be able to enjoy. I love the SGZ and I just want them to improve :)

Good news, bit sadden on the customization answer as I would like some improvements there with more clothes variety so we all don't look the same after a visit to a military base.

I've been playing on a private shard LOOTPARADISE for 2 months now and I love it so far, usually full and a nice weather. But don't take the server name seriously, its loot is as any other server.

Hopefully people don't mistake you for a berry bush ^-^
