I've been playing for couple of days now and I still haven't seen mosin, nor long range scope. I've been checking everywhere, even jumped to servers with 1h reset timer.

I keep getting "No message received for (timer)" every 5-20min. I just started playing yesterday so I was wondering whats that all about. It's really unplayable as I need use ct+alt+delete option and open a new client every time that happens cause the game stops working upon trying to exit the server. Is there any possible solution for my problem, I'm aware its still an alpha but I had to ask.

Is this normal I'm mostly a new player if we put aside me watching dayz streams for like a year or so. While the first couple of days I didn't had any problems with zombies today it was a mess. I just randomly aggro, through anything like walls or from some massive distances. I just died like couple of minutes so I came here in wonder. I've been in both Sobor's in a time lapse of an hour. I've constantly had zombie hordes on me, like literally after I would kill couple of them even more would just randomly spawn and charge me through walls (some of them took 10+ hits what the hell, also even after some of them died they would have a dead animation but still continue to hammering me and I would been able to do nothing about that) I remember dayz mod I've been able to sneak but not here. Every house I enter I had to fight couple of zombies due to me "somehow" aggroing them through walls and great distances. And yeah of course I died, used all 15-20 bandages I had and used some to heal my arms/leggs. Too bad there is no sneak factor in this game, if you see a zombie miles away just go to him and kill it cause you'll eventually aggro it anyway, also they can be sneaky without a sound jumping on my back suddenly ^^ Sorry for the long rant and poor grammar skills. Did something change today or I was just lucky the first few days. Today I used other melee weapons rather then firefighter axe just to see how good/bad they are, so from that above they seem really bad or that server was some hardcore shiet :)

This is the kind of problem which needs to be fixed asap, not waiting days, weeks or even more to deal with it. Is there any official dev reply about this issue around ?

I didn't want to open a new subject since I have similar question. I followed some guides and lowered the graphics in-game, tweaked a bit my arma2 profile, made some changes in Catalyst Control Center and in Control panel - power options putted high performance. My fps goes around 10-20 in cities and can go to 25-35 in forest. Since I have this lagg spikes in this game every now and then, especially in town I can reach to 0 which is not welcome at all. Shooting with that fps is impossible. -My PC configuration : Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8400 @3.00Ghz (2CPUs) Memory: 2gb RAM Graphic card: AMD Radeon HD 6670 QUESTIONS: - So is it really that much of a problem this game or something is wrong with my PC? - Maybe stupid to ask but will dayZ SA be more demanding? I would like to know that since I don't wanna purchase a game when it comes out if I'll have same FPS like in Arma 2 dayZ or even worse.

I've been searching forums for some kind of a guide to boost my fps. It was really helpful except the part where I was suppose to make changes in Catalyst Control Center. In that guide CCC is completely different (probably different version I believe) so I'm struggling to find it. Here's a picture of what I've found but I can only generally tweak my settings, not particulary for the game I want so as you see it doesn't show much options. I may be looking at the wrong tab or something, I really need help in here :) So the question is how do I add a game, in this case arma2(dayZ), to my CCC so I can tweak the settings. My screen resolution is 1680x1050. I'm getting around 50-60fps when out of town but inside it can lower to 25-30 which is still fine, but it usually drops drastically fast so that's bottering me, those few-second-laggs every now and then but it's playable, that's the most important. Anyway I've found out what I've needed about CCC, thanks for the replies and help. I should really get some more RAM ^.^

Hello there, I'm new in this game. First of all this game is great, I love it! There are few things I would like to ask. For example I played yesterday for a few hours. and cleared lots of places, packed myself up with some useful staff and an AK47 I believe, then I logged out. So today I found out that I don't continue from the last time I've played, instead I start from beginning which I didn't like. Does that depends on version/patch or the fact I logged on today on different server? ( I'm using Six Launcher because I play on a nonsteam version since I don't like steam much). Why there is no option to add a server to favourites or atleast show me where I've played last time, or some kind of an option when you hower over the server name it shows if you've been playing on it and for how long. When you sneak inside some house with zombies in lets say 20m radius, do they notice you closing the doors? does that attract them because I saw they can enter the house, it looks like more of their patroling path then the reason they saw me. I've noticed that I'm really noisy when I'm crawling on the ground but it doesn't show on the "Ear icon". So am I only noisy formyself and not for others or ? I also wondered how I can know how much fps I have, do I need fraps for that, just like you need in BF if you wanna know that. Anyway I love the game for now. Wish I have someone to play with, every player I saw for now, even the ones I've helped when they were chased by the zombies, killed me afterwards.

Thank you for the reply. You know maybe what's the easiest way to find out on which server I was playing yesterday. As I said I'm using six launcher and I can't seem to find any option with which I could found out which servers I last visited.
