I never had to wear my mask in the desert thank god. The scene from Jarhead comes to mind though. Playing football in the desert with that on. -

Well for one, the chemical suit is extremely hot. And yeah, 6 hours with something on your face breathing out of relatively tiny holes in the filter sucks. I use to love when the excersises were during the -7 below winters. Keep you decently warm. But then if you didn't have a good seal your mask would fog up. And you wouldn't dare adjust less one of the inspectors saw you and they'd "kill you" -

Time survived stats, learned skills, beards etc. If losing your gear is the only thing that sucks about dieing in the game then why the hell would anyone let someone hold them up?? If a bandit takes all or most of your good gear then isn't it pretty much the same as if they had shot you in the first place? If I have a group of 7 bandits holding me up and I am risking, dieing, losing my current time survived stat, beard or whatever, then yah, I am probably going to comply because my gear is not everything. But as it stands right now, beyond just wanting to see what transpires during a hold up, there is little difference between getting your gear stolen and dieing. Maybe if you're super inland you are losing your position but that's it really. I guess until your life means more than just your gear I will personally not be taken alive. I'll take every last one of them that I can down.

YES PLEASE! I am so tired of this shit. This exploit is annoying and gets people killed after effectively clearing the building. The only people that dont like this kind of idea are people who love to use the exploit. We need to keep this one at the top so the devs can see. All I see are people saying, "Honestly uhhh hurr durr its a bad idea..." and than not saying why its a bad idea. And don't use the internet cut out on you. Tough luck.

Why is it fail!? It makes perfect fucking sense. It's fail because the people that think its fail love this little exploit. That's why. I think this needs to be implemented. There is no good reason why it shouldnt. Nobody can log out of anything in real life so the realism shit wont cut it here. I am so tired of this server hopping BS. Timer or not people are gonna wait and wait. As long as they can get more and more military loot.

After meeting 2 friendlies in a good run, I was killed today by a server hopper who just happened to come out the closed door of a jailhouse right after server restart. I lost it. I am so tired of this shit. Someone suggested areas or zones were you cant log out. I love it. You should have to go find a nice patch of trees to log out at. You cant log out in real life so the realism excuse wont cut it. The only people that would not want to have to logout in the woods are people who love to use this exploit. Spawn timer or not people will continue to do this shit. -

I was talking to a few friendlies once who were being kind enough to saline me up. As we were talking I saw a zombie just stareing at us from behind him. I said "Hey bro, there's a Z behind you". He turned around as it came rushing at him. I took out my axe and started trying to kill the Z that was attacking him. All of a sudden his buddy starts opening up on me with his M4 screaming, "why are you hitting him with an axe??" I run away thinking WTF? I am trying to save his friend. I'm hit multiple times and my blood is almost gone by the time the whole situation calms down. Turns out, I see dead people. They did not see the zombie at all but I did. So when I was hitting the zombie they just saw me attacking their friend. Shitty glitch that caused a shitty situation. The subsequent saline bag they gave me also glitched out so my color came back but I was still blurry. I thought all Zs were handles server side so they should have been visible to everyone right?

The more I see your posts the more I get the feeling you are one of those liberal high and mighty "Everyone must bow down to the less fortunate and help them or cater to them or you are terrible person" people who at the same time never donates anything to anyone. People who think somehow charging electric cars with energy made in coal factories that pollute the air saves the planet and you are better for it comes to mind. So what shall we do for the deaf and colorblind Ocelot? Hmm? Is direct chat not good enough? Get over yourself dude, no one is being insensitive to anyone. Games don't usually cater to the deaf, mentally challenged, quadriplegic or colorblind. That is what everyone in here is saying. I didn't see one post saying "fuck the deaf they will just have to deal with it!" But hey maybe Bohemia can be the first to invest millions in some sort of brail that appears on monitors for them. You can donate to them since you are so enlightened and sensitive to the betterment of the disabled world. -

No, you wont be hopping onto anything but an empty server browser. No servers are up for experimental. I have no fucking clue why they'd have an experimental branch and no servers for it but there you go. Cant tell you how many times I'v gone back and forth between the two to get a chance to play it.

Where did you see that most of the animations are placeholders?? I heard sounds were but nothing about animations. Please enlighten me because the zombies animation as they are right now are laughable and frustrate the shit out of me. And as for your scavenger hunt idea I love it! Once the notes are working correctly I was planning on doing the same. -

Never has been sound for doors opening and closing in the ARMA engine so dont hold your breath, although I find it to be a seriously needed addition. So I think those dudes need to look at every thing they can do to add them. Also would like to see sound effects added to someone running against chainlink fences, sheet metal and walls as I suggested in my post "Lets up the Fear Factor". Sound will be the make or break for DayZ immersion. It's number one for survival horror genres. Period.
