Just played on a private hive server with NO HACKERS at all, played for a good 4 hours, got me some good loadout and now I'm stuck in Chernogorsk.. good times :D

I'll try the private hives, see if theres less hackers and whatnot ;)

Download Fallujah via sixupdater, go to single player and click editor. The preview button allows you to test the mission you made in the editor whether it's completed or not you will be sent into the map by pressing that as long as you have a character or a vehicle identified as you in it.

It's easy to understand, just go with the flow and don't hesitate to ask others for things that you may be curious about; that's how I learned how to play Takistan Life :)

There is no other way to get the DLC other than buying it of course, it's worth it if you consider actually playing ArmA II and not just DayZ, I do suggest that you try out some servers on the vanilla for once. Takistan Life would be a good example

Correction DayZ is just the mod in ArmA 2 of wherein it is the realistic simulator

You must be new to ArmA II, playing on Fallujah with the company so much gave me the proper reaction when I hear these gun cracks

As a ArmA II player with field experience rather than just DayZ, I've seen a fireteam of four men with a M249 saw suppress a UH-1H Iraquois(only chopper in DayZ at the moment) and kill the pilot, thus making it crash to the ground along with the enemy transport. Or you can just use a AT4 when it's hovering, I've seen my squad leader do it once, it was awesome EDIT: Shooting the tail rotor or even main rotor with small arms will only make a small dent, not more, not less, unless if you're using something with a heavy caliber that is. I would think a .50 BMG would make a difference but a AKM taking down a chopper with 15 rounds by shooting the tail rotor? False. I've been in an extraction where the chopper was just getting shot to bits by small arms(AK-74) and not even damaging the tail nor main rotor.

I just felt like playing DayZ because I missed killing bandits and/or snipers with my trusty old Lee Enfield, nothing better than killing someone with military-grade weapons with a unsung battle rifle. Anyway, I was running to chernaurus by the beach, I had my volume off since I know that script kiddies are on the loose and will likely go for me. I was climbing this little hill by the beach and I noticed a peripheral dot by the corner of my screen, I looked to my left and saw a man with a VSS and a ghillie just standing in front of a bush, it took a second before I could notice it was not a player because he just vanished in thin air when I saw him, I started running side to side trying to avoid the next encounter, and alt+f4'd out of the situation.. first time of doing the alt+f4 of shame :c

Never get attached to your gear, whether you stole it or not, you're gonna lose it. So you better use it to it's finest

I suggest the Silent Warriors public server, it's pretty nice and has the domination game mode around it -SW member

Use it, if theres no ammo, find ammo for it.. if you're a explorer like me who despises sniper rifles and uses assault rifles/shotguns, leave it there

Unlucky sod, oh well.. NVGs are for young lads anyway, meanwhile the military flashlight or just the normal flashlight are for men. Playing at a night server with no light from the moon sure makes the immersion of fear overwhelming, but at the same time thrilling. You should try it some time
