    What clothing will YOU wear???

Screw you guys, I'm gonna wear a gumby costume. Those pesky bandits are looking for people that look like post-apocalyptic survivors, with their scruffy and worn-out clothing along with brown backpacks. But not gumby, everyone loves gumby.. right? Edit: But on a serious note, I really hope the clothing system is really in-depth instead of what we have now on DayZ, that of which barely suffices since you can't even customize it, you just unpack a brown package and wear the whole thing without being given the option, no matter how audacious you may be, to change it's appearance and how you wear it. But moving on to my clothing, I'd like it to be a black v-neck shirt, tight men's jeans, and a pair of low-top black star player EV's from Converse. No hats for me, I prefer to show my mohawk proudly.
  2. I'm at a great FPS of at least, say, 60 when looking at the sky, about 20 FPS when outside cities, and 15 FPS when inside them. I think you should be grateful that you have 'good enough' FPS than what I bare with.

If you were an in game item what would you be?

    A used baby diaper
  7. Giving beans has been a very natural tradition within DayZ in-game, and in the forums. Though this feature of denoting appreciation, approval, and even proof of acceptance, it is seemingly limited to my point of view to express one's approval through only one option. I would simply suggest adding other entities that can enhance the diversity of options the reader of a post has on the author. For example, A can of baked beans would represent the highest sign of approval. A can of pasta would represent an acceptable amount of agreeing with one's opinion. A can of sardines would denote mediocre support to one's statement, and lastly a empty tin can would show disapproval or even a evident remark of annoyance to an individual's audacious personality.
  8. Cooked meat should be part of the positive votes too.. forgot to mention it ;)
  9. Are you no longer opening ArmA II: Combined Operations because DayZ, the main reason why a large portion of people have actually bought this military simulator, is now ruined? Let me be the first to say, that you are retarded. Have you even tried playing anything other than DayZ? Vanilla is ought to be good enough provided that you find a good server. But noooo, instead you choose to bitch about it in the forums saying your money is wasted because of DayZ and now you're buying stand-alone because it's much more better. You need to learn to look at your options, I mean seriously you bought the GAME not the mod, it's just an add-on. Keep in mind DayZ is not the only great mod you can have in ArmA II for free. There are also other great and renowned mods such as: @ACE, @ACRE, @i44, @zeus_AI_ACE, and the list goes on.. all of those mods, added only to enhance your gaming experience. The options are just seemingly infinite, but the minds of those who think their money is wasted is just ridiculously narrow.
  10. I'm not much of a fan of the whole PvP with AS50/M107/DMRs thing. But what I've indeed interested in is survivors actually fighting for supplies using low-tier weapons and their status would be degrading everytime the user would happen to use it. Given the opportunity, this opens a door of possibilities to give scrap metal further use other than being a repair ingredient for vehicles, it could also be used in repairing a weapon from it's aging flaws. A handful of other items should also be added to be a repairing ingredient to any weapon in particular. It would give you a sense of actually scavenging for materials to maintain your weapon, as well as looking for food in the barren, foodless wasteland also known as Chernaurus. Instead of having military weapons laying on the floor everywhere in military areas, it should be kept in ammo boxes, to spawn rarely in these said areas.
  11. It's an AI mod that makes them smarter, fiercer, and deadlier
  12. What about the word on DayZ on ArmA II? will we get anything similar to that feature?

DayZ in real life - stairs

He's missing one thing... the blood-curdling cry of the player as he breaks his leg in a two feet fall.

    Shooter's Remorse

One time I met this guy with a white pickup.. he was very friendly, but my intentions were not congruent to his. We drove around chernaurus trying to find a gas station, and when we did I murdered him in cold blood and stole his car. After a few minutes I began to feel guilt, almost like I actually killed a person. Afterwards I tried to find out where he was at the moment via the side channel, and once I knew where he was I returned his white pickup to him, no gear touched nor his can of beans were eaten. I felt a warm fuzzy feeling inside me as he drives away after saying 'Thank you so much!' and that is the day when I realize, I'm not meant to be a bandit
  16. Yeah, mature enough with a shrill, blood-curdling voice that will only give one option to anyone who encounters him: shoot.

    DayZ - Question #4‏

Walk. A real man travels by foot, no matter how long the distance!
  18. No, that's about Brick's Suicidal Charge... and if you were wondering what else would they do than stay in a ditch and return fire?
  19. Other than the PMC security guard unit, why not add one of these bad boys to add a sense of variety: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10464 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=15465 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=12272 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16546 (this one is a joke, obviously) But of all those links, this might be the best one for Dean Hall to take inspiration from to what DayZ default skins should look like: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=11840 Imagine spawning and getting a random post-apocalyptic skin, it would really help add the immersion and the fact that no one in a post-apocalyptic situation looks like someone with a bulletproof fest, a nice and soft hat to keep your head safe from headshots(not), and comfy and casual long-sleeves. It would be completely fitting and rational to why having those post-apocalypse skins in DayZ is a good idea.
  20. So that particular DayZ 2017 is not made by Rocket, but by another guy?

    Axe/Hatchet the best weapon ever?

I always use the W. Wallace face found in the player profiles (check the last face) to get the braveheart warpaint, it goes epic with my hatchet while I scream 'FREEEDDDOOOOOOOOOM!' before getting executed by a sniper in an open field.
  22. Panthera is a good tropic-desert map mix.. it has more military loot spawns, somewhat reluctant in fact. Three or Four airports available and multiple FOBs with good military loot. Good vegatation and map all in all
  23. That made me scoff, my bad on triple posting there.. you won't see it again, you have my word for it!
  24. Indeed, people miss the point of DayZ being the mod.. and ArmA II being the game. Some people are even surprised when watching ArmA II videos without the DayZ mod on. They all go like 'Whoaaa, you hacker, theres no such thing as a humvee with a M240 mounted machine gun!'
  25. It's quite an ironic interesting twist really, a video with explosions everywhere in a smaller-scale compared to Michael Bay's effects while theres a guy in the spectator lobby blasting away gibberish.. I love it!
