  1. Well this conversation is done. I am going to go and stay in vanilla DayZ, Because all of this information has taught me this so far. It takes hard work to play DayZ and Epoch by the hours. There are safes and parts of buildings that can be spammed if some could get enough supplies. The traders can help someone trade their wepons for food. Over all vanilla DayZ is like the Dark ages, the plague struck. Epoch is almost in the future when people have begun to understand, we have a problem now we have to try to win against the undead and now there are communitys that trade with others. I just feel that base building is just not for me. A safe mabey to put medical supplies. All and all I want to hold on to the early state of DayZ for now.

  2. pretty boring tbh. often dominated by server owners who have all gold and vehicles and massive bases. cue big youtubers make friends with server owners then miraculously they too have massive bases and every item under the sun isnt that amazing !

    hurry up standalone ! B)

Your picture reminds me of that hand eye monster from pan's labyrinth.

  3. I have had a encounter when I had been on the top of the hospital in chernogorsk getting supplies for my ever drying medical services. I see a wondering player had followed me. He was like a lost dog, he walked up to me and told me to say cheese. I was wondering what could he mean by that. Then suddenly he threw down a granade. My first instinct was to start sprinting away and I got behind a concrete wall and braced for impact. My hearing went deaf at the sound of the explosion. His body was thrown off the building, with his lower half torn off. An AK fired from the distance at me, when I dropped for cover I blacked out. When I awoke, there were 3 bandits on the roof close to me now looting the medical supplies. Now with my body drain of blood I grabbed my m9 from my inside jacket pocket and took aim. I fired at the man on the rights head, he dies instantly. Then at the other two in such a quick pace. The last man I shot at had not died. The man said " fuk u noob" in chat. I then walk over to him and end his miserable life there. I then become unconscious knowing that I will die. As my last drops of blood left from my bullet wound I had bliss thinking. I have rid this world of 3 evil people, a small step in peace in DayZ.

  4. I feel that OP has a motive. To survive and eliminate threats. To add to this he can try to give mercy to those who are not armed or have small wepons. I'm conflicted between the rights and wrongs, giving other players a chance to survive is great. But the way you are doing it could be seen as not the best way to have mercy on another. Now guns do not have mouths, they can't say if you move I will shoot you. People are going to think you are going to shoot them right off the bat because past expirences. Using your voice is the best way to tell or demand someone to do something. How I, as a hero talk to others is by introducing myself (through voice chat direct) and showing them I am not a stonewall that will kill if you show any threats at me. To show your self as a bandit can be much more difficult, people will know that you have killed a man. Unjustly or not, you have killed people. As a hero you can have killed others but they feel safer around one like us. Again the voice can be your best tool and wepon. Speaking first can create the setting to let the other person know, " I see you, if you move I will kill you." That will give them a 50/50 choice that they can run and risk dieing, or stay and let you do what you want with them until they can leave. The only rules there are at first glance of a bandit is: Get ready to hide/run, or fight that person. I have never had the urge to make freinds with other bandits unless I am also a bandit. Pretty much what I am trying to say is, tell them what you are going to do if they do anything and then make your demands. After that it is up to you what you want to do, you have the advantage over them.
