I just got into DayZ with my friend and we tried walking into some small towns/villages. When ever we did, we would we busy killing zombies untill dying from lack of ammo and/or supplies. How da f**k do you get in and out of towns in one piece?

Just spawned in with a friend, were both new and confused.. We went to Puska and didnt find anything besides some bullets for a shotgun.

Ok. I have several more questions but I dont wanna flud the forums.. Sooo When you press Caps Lock, it voice chats on Group Chat. How do you switch it to the white one, the one that talks to people around you?

If I run through buildings, they lose track of me? I only kill them with silenced weapons. Running around buildings work?!

They said on theyr official announcement that it will be released on Dec '12. Its almost the end of it, and we passed the end of the world where we all suspected it will be launched, yet it isnt. Is there anything I am missing? :)

Sooo I have heard alot about Arma 2 DayZ. I think it just rocks and I have seen Frankie playing on youtube and I wanna be just like him. But I also have a friend that says he quit DayZ because of SO many hackers... Also, I have a life, and I heard that to make any progress, you can't play for an hour or two, you need several. Is the correct? Do you need half an hour to run from one spot to another? Is there a way to avoid hackers? Is Arma 2 worth getting right now, or just wait half a year that I don't wanna spend waiting for the DayZ standalone? Are there hacker protected servers? Are there clans like on Battlefield, which I come from? Thanks alot in advance for any answer, and have a great week in advance!
