No respawn button leads to even more annoying hacks

This happened to me and a few others last night. I think it may have been a glitch and not hackers. Respawn button was disabled for me. I was playing with an existing character, but all my gear was missing. I just quit back to assignment screen and then clicked ok again, to re enter the game. It's only a couple more mouse clicks and it does the same a respawn. -
With version 1.7.2.4, I am getting the same issue as ubikPainKiller shows in his video. I have tested viewing from the same position whilst in the mission editor, without running the DAyZ mod running and I do not see graphics artifices. I play a "lot" of ArmA2 and only see these issues when running the DayZ mod. Running full versions of ArmA2, AO, PMC, BF on Win7 64 bit, Nvidia GTX680.

Do none of the people here commenting on how the night has changed, not understand that ArmA2 has 12 month sun and moon cycles. The amount of light available on any one night will vary depending on the moon cycle (full moon, half moon, etc). Where in the sky the moon is and whether there is any cloud cover! -

In testing this I'd want to see what happens when multiple people do things multiple times. When a fix for this is delivered, we should all try to disconnect to avoid death, and try it multiple times. This being said, as a bad tester I haven't tried using this exploit myself :-/ -

You people do realise that this mod is in ALPHA. The whole point of making it a public alpha is so that people will find and use the exploits. This way the developer can identify and fix the exploits where possible. Release notes are a good thing. We should be seeing what has been fixed and then try to break it again. (And reporting the results.) -

I think a single train like this; http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9530 could be a good addition. It would have limited fuel (diesel) so once repaired and started it could only be driven up and down the coast line a finite number of times.

Isn't the power plant near Elektrozavodsk a hydro plant?

Looks like I am not the only one that thought of this idea :) I think that being able to fix and restart a power plant that would allow functioning street lighting to come on at night would be a good way to enrich the gameplay environment. Once repaired (requiring multiple items) the power could be only be turned back on by throwing two switches at the same time, which would require two people to coordinate and cooperate.
