I'm having this problem as ive bought dayz for my son as he keeps wanting to play my game and now he logs in on his steam account on my pc, to arma 2 or OA or CO, but it still has my profile in his game. A solution would be nice as i have two copies of the game we should be able to create two profiles.. :(

Im very impressed with your achievement in 90 mins!! I do wish I could find new friends who are as into this and as good at it as you. Ive been playing this solo for 4 weeks now....and especially snce global chat has gone...i play alone all the time now. I am a member of a gaming clan with 150+ members, but I cant seem to get anyone as obsessed with it as me, and anyone i meet in game just kills me lol Anyway it wasn't really about MY mates :) My real point was that with the very tough starter curve I think we will see less and less new players as although the mod is free, the aram2 pack if you dont already have it is 25. A price not many want to pay to be frustrated and killed constantly when they cant see brilliant the game beyond. Ive been playing four weeks and the last 9 days of no starter weapons are really pushing me towards giving up as ive been close to tears with frustration lol not your problem, not rockets problem, but there you have it...

No - I get the point to it but... I cant convince ANY of my mates to play this now as they havnt seen beyond the frustrating and seemingly impossible start so they are saying "whats the point??". It seems impossibly difficult to get started now, I try to creep everywhere but with nothing to defend me at all when im searching if i get cornered in any house its death, death, death. I die MUCH more now than I ever did with PK'ing.

report for 1.7.1.5 -mostly seems much better, normal and manageable zed aggro, and very smooth performance, loot spawns normally etc... sorry if some of these below are are old issues. -[new feature] magic trick - double click main-hand weapon and it completely disappears never to be seen again. ;) Ive done this a couple of times now since .7 release. This instance it was the doublebarrel shotty, last time was the winchester. - flares/nightsticks always reset to 10 after relog -I entered the house model with a narrow stairway up to a closed door. I could not turn round at all as my gun stopped me at the wall, and could not go back down as a zed was there. It attacked me from behind and I glitched through the floor into the room below with broken everything and 2k blood from 12k.

Suddenly having same issues as soon as I enter a server 5 secs then " You were kicked from the game" Been playing fine last night on 1.7.1.4 now today I get this everytime.

OMFG this is ridiculous! 75 pages and mostly full of crap to trawl through!! Cant you guys resist the temptation to enter into meaningless debates on these threads?? There's a whole forum for all the comments and discussion you want have! This thread is for SPECIFIC and BRIEF feedback on the update! I'm interested in reading what other people are finding with the update, not reading long winded analysis of the game, underwear colors, damaged egos, trolling, flaming, how crap this player is, how great you are, how everyone should just go play hello kitty online etc etc etc, ad infinitum, yawn f'ing yawn!!! Read the first post and ONLY comment if you have something useful to ADD in brief! nothing else at ALL! (sorry mods i just couldn't help myself to comment... hope you delete ALL of the crap here inc this post!)

Just posting my experience with latest fix.. - hatchet still bugged showing as shotgun ammo icon in gear, and wont equip, drop it duplicates or disappears. - zeds behaving very oddly inside. In the small hay barn they followed me in but then all filed up the steps past me to the top floor and just walked against the wall until I shot them all. -sounds very confusing indoors.. really dont seem to be coming from zeds locations. - when i left a server i had winne and some various goods but no special items.. when i reloaded i had no winne, a bloodpack, a makarov, watch, compass, matches, and map. (actually i think the last bug was using .3) hope this helps.

chill out! This is Alpha.. if you still expect everything to work perfectly everytime theres an update then go play and PAY FOR some other published and FINISHED game. Dont come here and be frikin rude to the people who are working their asses off making this game FOR FREE.. and shit all over them. You are the tester not the customer.. catch a grip. The new update has bugs... weve been told that.. now sit tight and wait for a fix or FO. ok?

Love the fixes in the list..... but actually playing it has proved deadly to the point i need a small army to survive even the simplest zed encounter! u guys do know its bugged yeh? Fix will be out in 30-48 hrs apparently.. Excessive zed spawns and loot spawns are bugged.

damn! Wish id read this before i went and got killed... managed to survive 3 onslaughts in different areas with 30+ zeds ( thanks to the extra spawns of winne ammo) .. but thy got me down to 1800 blood and my final demise came attempting to crawl to berezhino..passing out and calling for help.. sob..i was chased into a barn by another 30 zeds surrounding me melting.. through the walls.. lol..was definitely a last stand! Ah well.. the joys of Alpha...still was REALLY good fun...maybe one day ill survive long enough to find a box of matches!! (the only survival item ive yet to ever find)

Ive been playing for 4 weeks and have yet to find, see or even hear any vehicles at all. If they are all being stashed off map that REALLY sucks! I dont care about players creating camps, but hoarding the finite, rare and limited resource completely beyond reach of any other players is not a good mechanic for the game/sim.

I had the same problem until i copied and pasted the battleye folder from steams "ARAM2" to "ARMA 2 operation arrowhead" folder and then it worked! Cheers for the help!
