    I'm having the same exact issue as the OP. Arma 2 works just fine--it's only the DayZ mod that crashes during the loading screen w/ the big DayZ logo. Here are some of the things I've done in terms of troubleshooting: Diagnose / Reinstall DayZ mod through Play withSIX Make sure Direct X install is OK Added exceptions to Windows Firewall Made sure AVG was not mismanaging any of the Arma 2 / DayZ files Made sure Peerblock was not blocking any relevant IPs Here are some relevant system specs: Video: GeFrorce GTX 465 Driver: 8.17.13.142 (from May 2012 -- I should probably update this, but DayZ was working up until a few days ago) [*]OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Any ideas?
