Hey, Tom here from the TMW (trusted medics of the wasteland) I would have to disagree with you guys, KOS is not the worst thing in dayz, while it does suck, and we all hate an out-of-no-where burst of fire. At least you respawn with 2 rags, a flashlight, and 2 open inventory slots. I can attest that there are some bandits out there who take EVERYthing from people just to fuck with them "why do you want my jeans? you have cargo pants!" there is also tying up and force feeding rotten fruit or disinfectant spray, taking someone as hostage from a group of survivors, and the occasional asshole who gets joy from breaking people's legs, leaving them to crawl around until they find morphine or make a splint. So yea while a KOS may be an inconvenience, its far worst when a bandit fucks with your current life.
