Our server has it on strictly for the name of the player I am recording combat logging. If I could have name plates enabled when aimed at but crosshairs and fingers turned off I would gladly remove it.

The L85A2 AWS can switch between thermal and Night vision with N. It is a legit gun if you tossed it, thats a shame. Fairly rare gun. Nvm, I see you say its Susat and not AWS.

Can we have an official ruling on this. The cheat reporting guidelines say not to post these as a cheat, but 4 days after those was made, rocket started a topic to address this issue. Stating.

Yes he is unbanned and there is a very large thread already in server discussion where the OP avidly admits he will ban for combat logging. And until I am specifically told not to ban for exploiting (combat logging) from a dev, or someone can link a statement from a dev telling people not to ban for combat logging I will continue to ban those who I can provide evidence (fraps) on. Rocket states in the quote I provided earlier that DCing during combat is an exploit. Do I allow those who exploit to ruin my server or do I enforce a strict policy against people using this? Feel free to join whichever server you wish no need to express yourself on what you server you choose to join. This is the ban appeals forums, not your personal blog forums. I would appreciate it if a mod would lock this thread as this issue has been handled and half the people posting here having nothing to do with it nor do they understand the difficulty being and admin trying to enforce rules that ruin a game. This threads last two posts have turned this thread into troll bait.

No tents are still in the same place as before. If you lost a tent I can only assume someone found yours and destroyed it. There was no move, just a change in name due to the DayZ naming policies in place in order to adhere to the agreement set forth to continue to be whiltelisted.

Im sorry but I have a very stern position on combat loggers. I have only recently began to fraps them for proof. And due to this incident not being recorded on fraps I am willing to remove the ban with a warning. Our server stance on combat logging is harsh and considering I am a fair admin and not a "abuser" as the OP has pointed out. I will let him slide due to the request of proof from myself. The irony of this situation is if I never responded in the first place this thread would have been pushed aside with the 100 other threads "I was banned". Along with a post from someone telling the OP to provide proof not myself. I am an active admin and take my reputation as a server admin serious as well as make it a point to improve my server at every possible level. For example the past day I spent over 3 hours cleaning up Cherno and Electro from the infamous razor wire and tank blocks being placed everywhere blocking entrances into 90% of the buildings. As well as before every restart I make it point to let everyone know through Rcon global that I will be restarting the server in X minutes to provide ample time for those players to find a safe spot to log out. As an admin there is nothing I can do that can be considered abuse besides an unjustified ban. I run a clean server, and I will ban for combat logging.

Sorry but you did not kill me, you did however kill a clanmate. But unless you can provide some proof to this accusation then you may as well forget it. I personally watched you combat log after shooting my rifle at you. Im the admin of NY68 now US186. I don't see your ban being lifted anytime soon.

I assume your saying easy mode due to the fact I have xhairs enabled? I would have it veteran no issues with that, but with that turned on.... how could I find out the name of the scrubs who combat log. Im not going to look at console all the time just to catch them. Either way the "easy mode" goes both ways, yet they still log 1v3.

Several combat loggers today. I got a few on fraps. Say hello to the camera projinn, kostikenet, and San4ez25. From Rocket himself.

Actually you was banned for combat logging. All the other stuff that happened before the combat log I wasn't around to witness. I promptly logged in after hearing one of our members say someone found our camp. I see you loading a vehicle up in the middle of our tents. I pop off a few shots of my rifle and you disappear. Sorry but combat logging is against our rules and bannable.

I am the admin on NY68 (now US186) still Desolation. At this point there is nothing that can be done about the hackers. I can skim the logs and hope I see something out of the ordinary, but most likely these will be caught by the debug and the HIVE. The person who did it will be eventually banned and the hack patched. Im sorry that you guys lost gear, if you need some help starting back up just let me know.

Exactly why cant it be patched out? Aggression timer shouldn't be hard to implement. Haven and Hearth have it, hell even in minecraft you can mod in a combat log plugin. Everyone abusing it now will be crying later when they stay ingame and lose everything after trying to alt-F4. All they have to do is make it so as long as the player is in aggression mode, being attacked... attacking... that they will stay ingame regardless if they pull the plug, Alt-F4 or abort. 1 minute timer on aggression reset.

Banned a few combat loggers today. Sad people resort to this. Anyone who comes on our server know this... you will be banned for combat logging. Our definition: If you are shot at, under fire, and log out during this to avoid dying or to move locations via another server in order to get advantage on position.

Still nothing, I see spyder still playing in the server just fine? Is there special privileged people who are allowed to exploit by combat logging on your server that don't get banned? If so I guess I should relocate... than I can abuse the system all day without consequence.
