Bandages will stop any kind of bleeding.It's just how much you'll use.The fact that DayZ only has a small bandage image doesn't mean that all bandages have one size.A bandage can patch up a scratch, and, depending upon its size, even a mutilated limb (but that's not really usual). As for the bones, IIRC, morphines stop the pain.So, in time, the bone fixes itself.It wouldn't be easy to walk with a bad break (e.g. ankle), but more or less, it does make sense.I don't understand what you are trying to say with "making some sense" (which should mean "realistic") and "authentic".

To cut 3 long stories short: 1.A friend of mine was standing on some sort of factory chimney, and all of a sudden his character was in the air dancing Gangnam Style, and there was a screen message saying "Oppa gangnam style" some 5 times.Have you seen this hack before? 2.I jacked a chopper, but just a few seconds after I took it to the sky, with the ex-owner looking at it in desperation, it suddenly disappeared.Then I got kicked, and I think it was some sort of battleye kick (not sure).So, just wonderin', is it within an admin's powers to disappear a vehicle (=is it possibru?)?. 3.Two buddies of mine told me they had found an Apache (AH-64/AH-1).Didn't believe them.Then I saw this: So, what's up with them Apaches? 1.ArmA style=I believe you're in the wrong game if you are here just to kill people and use the beans as an excuse.Such loot can be found even in the most remote areas, I've found more beans in the middle of nowhere than on dead bodies.It's my opinion that if someone's playing DayZ just to kill, then he's playing for the wrong reason. 2.PvP wasn't exactly what Rocket had in mind while making the mod... 3.I'm glad you are in favor of those additions.I am too.

Well, realism does have an aim.It is to get as close to the real thing as possible.As for the dictators, my point was to point out that I believe calling a game/playing style something for people with balls is more of an exaggeration.It's game, not life.Success in a game means little/nothing in real life, and vice versa.If one wants to prove he has balls, he does something e.g. dangerous, he doesn't say "I kick yo ass 24/7 any game any weapon".

I had an AKM, but it was empty so I threw it for an AK-74.But are you sure about these?In ArmA 2 SP (but in DayZ too) the AKM seems to be pretty...realistic, in terms of inaccuracy.Also, the mags are fairly hard to find, they're not exactly the most common ammo type you get to see lying around.

I got friends on the verge of becoming bandits.But they don't do it for the sake of better weapons, they do it to avoid dying.So far, we (the group) have died at least 4 times from other bandits and panicked survivors.To them, being the first ones to shoot seems to be the only way out.I object to that, though, dunno what they're gonna do, but I'm thinking of sticking with the survivor skin.

I like to play realistically.What is happening now is what you describe.But the way I see it, in a real zombie apocalypse, few people would be selfish enough to kill the few remaining normal beings in a zombie-infested world just to make sure that they'll live comfortably in that mess.This is why I find banditry in DayZ to be -mostly, sometimes it can be necessary- a wrong thing.Plus the fact that many bandits are simply dudes who prefer to do things the quick way (who the f*ck goes to a supermarket, let's kill a noob, or why risk losing my life to get to an airfield, let's snipe/kill an unsuspecting survivor instead), or, worse, dudes who are in the wrong game (I am so l33t cuz I play DayZZZ to kill n00bs) doesn't make them look any more attractive, nor does it help me understand their logic. People with balls?War is for people with balls.Standing up against dictators (and normal goverments, on occasion) is for people with balls.Games are for everydayers who want to entertain themselves. And indeed, zombies aren't really much of a challenge.No irony here, but I believe Rocket should/could try making zombies much more dangerous.Right now, banditry is the greatest danger around.If that danger became zombies, the game would probably become more interesting.If this is tested, and it fails, I'll gladly go on in the way it is now, since I still like it. As I said, if banditry becomes necessary (low on supplies, probably in the middle of nowhere, zombies running to you, etc etc), then wtf, if I got something you really need and can't waste time to talk, shoot me up and take it.But for the love of God, don't shoot me cause you're too bored to crawl to a nearby supermarket, or simply because you think you're in CoD/BF3.

I never play alone because I play with irl friends.I do have to agree that PvP is a really stupid part of the game, on most occasions,But it's the running and danger that make me like this game.
