    Cheating on Seattle 71

I just have to comment on name tags being enabled. I played on this server for a good 5-7 hours before this event took place. And I can definitely say that all vehicles were farmed in a proper way as I was one of the guys running from town to town checking for vehicles. I can also say that name-tags were never enabled. I logged off about right before the whole event started as I was shot from nowhere in the head and decided to not bother running all the way back to re-gear. I literally logged off 10-20 minutes before the event from what I can tell, and I can remember clearly giving one guy a blood transfusion and had to tell him to stand by a particular car because there were no name-tags on this server and there never has been. TLDR From the first three seconds of this movie that THEY posted, you can see that there are no name-tags. Getting fed up with all this shit.

To Rocket & the “Hardcore” crowd

I just gotta bring up this thing about night being broken. It is not. If the skies are clear and the moon is out, you can see very well when in fields and towns, as long as the moonlight hits the ground. However if the moon is covered up you will naturally have a tiny amount of light coming in resulting in a rather completely dark area. Now I cant use my own country or home as an example here, because there is a city/neighbourhood street everywhere. But I remember on my trip to Australia, I took a trip from Byron Bay and out to a Farm to chill out with some people that I met within town. I stayed there the whole night. There are two things I remember in particular. 1. I could see a whole shit ton of stars in the sky. 2. Due to the only light source being the house I was in and the light from the sky (The farm was faaaar away from anywhere else.), I could basically not see a single thing beyond 5-10 meters from the farm. I like to believe I have a good night vision, but I could honestly not see shit no matter how long I was out in the dark. If the light from the cities of Chernarus were on, we could probably see better in the dark, but the fact of the matter is that the power of chernarus is gone. There is no light pollution making the dark comforting and safe. This is how it looks when there are no light sources at fucking all.
  3. YES! The mere possibility of a murderer with 10+ kills remaining calm when approaching another survivor is slim, unless the murderer in fact had a psychological disorder. The mechanic could however be improved by subtracting a larger amount of humanity if the victims were to be killed within a shorter time space. So that players, whom just happened to run into survivors with bad intent, is given a lesser punishment. I'm a bandit myself and I would not mind this, but still think that the above mechanic should be implemented into the humanity system to more accurately (Not accurately, but more.) portray a potential serial killer, rather than an unlucky survivor.
  4. I hope this will reduce the bean frustration in Arma, now that it is available in form of phone-sex. So instead of using so much time trying to find them hot beans, you can now call from the comfort of your own bush/castle/fire station/tent. I was a bandit for one week, but thanks to Baked Beans I feel a lesser need to kill for beans and have found that a shared dinner with a fellow survivor can provide a bigger amount of beans in the future.

    Rifle Butt Knockout

Could there maybe be an option to knock someone out with the rifle butt if attacked from behind? As if in someone were to move behind a person without them noticing, they could have the option to shortly knock them out instead of having to kill every single player that crosses ones path. This would give people playing bandits an actual option to show some mercy, but still have a focus on survival. It could also cause a lot more tension between random players tagging along on a scavenge hunt.
